These were easy to assemble but the cross bar at the footrest seems to be wrong. I put them on one with the screws on bottom and the on top and the ones on top fit better. I looked at the display photos again and they show a small gap too. I don't like that. Other than that flaw the are nice.

The chairs are just as described. No complaints. Picture is not the best. The cushions are brown `leather' with white stitching. Yes the stitching may get dirty, but so far- we love the look of these in our kitchen. If you search by the same name, you will find better pictures on the internet, but not a better price! I purchased three stools. Assembly was pretty straight forward. Parts are: the seat, the back ladder assembly, the front legs and two rails. There are two bolts at each connection. Hex drive (Allen wrench) is included. You will need a Philips head screw driver for the side rails. Once assembled, the two lower side rails had a slight gap on just about all of my stools. This is on the lower rail on the R and L side and is barely visible.There are a few reviews about changes in style. Get over it! I loved the car I bought ten years ago, wouldn't it be nice to buy that same car again, new, at the same cost I paid ten years ago! Get real. These chairs are a great value and sold by AMAZON not an independent storefront. We ordered three stools and ALL three are identical! No complaints.

I was prepared for less than what I expected after reading reviews but was pleasantly surprised. They look great, and wipe of easily which is great with two little kids. The only negative is that they wobble a little (legs seem to be uneaven), not dramatically though, and we did put felt on the bottoms to protect our floor. I was origionally planning on covering them with fabric to match my room, but after seeing them I like the way they are. Picture is darker then in person, it is a true brown rather than the black brown shown.

Bought 6 of these, only one needed returning due to scratches on the back rest. Easy process returning. Assembly is not bad. The only thing I don't like is the back rest tilts you too far forward when sitting on them. Perhaps when the cushions break in a bit it won't be so bad. Overall nice looking chairs, happy with them.

Had 2 of these chairs already which work great. Ordered two more from Amazon. One had a problem and had to be sent back. They resent another chair - same name, same item #, but the styling is slightly different. Slightly different size, different style/color stitching - not a match. Returned for another one, same problem. Now I have 4 chairs with 3 the same and 1 slightly different. Chinese manufacturer must have modified slightly but kept the same name.

We purchased these bar chairs several years ago from elsewhere and have loved them. Our big, silly puppy chewed one of the legs, so I was pleased to find this chair as a replacement. It is lovely, but significantly differs from the originals...seat is dark brown (not black), seat cushion is thicker and extends over the edges of the frame. I would recommend this chair if shopping for a complete set, but not necessarily to replace one piece of a previously purchased set.

I was so excited to find these barstools – they looked simple classic and perfect. Sadly, when they arrived some of the holes were drilled in reverse, or maybe the instructions were backwards. Regardless after fussing with it for an hour, we ended up with a rickety barstool with loose joints. On top of that, the weight limit in the write up was 50 pounds more than the weight limit stated on the documentation we received with the chair. So back they went.

Chair looks great and exactly seen as pictured. Quality is good for the price. 24 inch height is perfect for a standard counter height. I bought 1 try out and just placed an order for 3 more to finish my collection for my kitchen island. see pictures attached
