Rookie Report: I am newbie to mushroom cultivation. Purchased liquid culture and the All-In-One kit from these guys and I couldn't be happier. Mycelium was growing within weeks in the bag and I was harvesting fresh Lion's Mane in 4 weeks!Simply injected the liquid culture and put it away out of the light in a cool dry cabinet. Once it was all grown I cut the top of the bag and placed it in a shoe box sized Tupperware. I spray watered the bag every other day. My next purchase I will experiment with a spore syringe!

I was blown away by how easy this mushroom kit was to use. I've tried other kits before, but this one was a breeze! I paired it with Lion's Mane liquid culture, and the results were astonishing. The mushrooms grew like crazy and I ended up with a bountiful harvest. I'm so impressed with Forager & Co.'s products. I've always had great experiences with them and this kit just solidified my loyalty to the brand. I can't wait to try more of their products in the future. Next time, I will try the Pioppino or Chestnut mushrooms which grow a little slower but I will take my chances! Oh, one more thing... I had to call their customer service and I must say they know their product and were very helpful.

Ordered 2. Moisture was in one and was swelled up upon opening initially. The other I decided to try and ended up with fruit Flys inside the sealed bag. Waste of time for me. Should have just returned for a refund. Literally wasted $60.

There are instructions in the box on how to get things started, but it tells you to cut the vacuum bag, but not the grow bag. It doesn't say what size hole to cut, doesn't say whether to tear across the top of the vacuum bag...So right now, my grow is showing along the wall of the internal grow bag, which still looks like it's tightly sealed after a week of growing. The vacuum bag was cut on the corner, just making a 1cm hole because the instructions are unclear, and the reviews don't show anything either.I'm not sure what things are supposed to look like, and the instructions are vague. My spores are growing, but I'm not sure if they'll bud, because the internal bag doesn't look like it's ready to give way when the buds reach the top surface.

This product was well packaged and as aesthetically pleasing as a bag of dirt can be lol.The spores I got were likely duds, but there was no growth of fungi (intended or not) or any other microbe for upwards of 2 months. With proven sterility and the quality of the product, I will likely reorder if I reattempt to grow at home!

I was sent a bad bag, but they have been undergoing changes and producing better bags. I was offered a new bag and complimentary gourmet lc syringe of my choice! Very sweet.
