Okay, so I wanted to upgrade from my old Lasko ceramic space heater (which reached the end of its useful life, RIP) and discovered the GoveeLife line of smart heaters. Being able to control things remotely and schedule them was a big plus for me – I have a disability and being able to operate the heater from bed, for example, is a major benefit – so I decide to go with this brand. I originally bought the cheapest smart heater, which is a small one without a smart light or oscillating function, but that has the same wattage and power output (1500 W). Unfortunately, that model had one major downside: there is no LCD reading of the temperature and no way to adjust the temp with buttons on the heater itself. So, I'd rather have one with an LCD reading and temperature control, largely in case my Wi-Fi router goes down for some reason. I dug a bit deeper and found this is the only model that has those features. It's unfortunate it's so much more expensive ($130 retail instead of $50 for the shorter one, or $100 vs. $40 on sale, which is what I paid) for what seems like not "double-the-price worth of features," but it is what it is. I honestly think the shorter heater is a total steal for someone who doesn't need the frills, but this one is still worth the sale price at least – especially if you compare it to not-smart tower heaters out there.Big plusses:- The most features out of any space heater I've seen on Amazon, hands down. Not sure what other models you could get that include this one's features and smart app.- Solid power, though 1500 W is pretty well the norm these days. Either way, it pumps out what you'll need for most rooms (except for maybe a combined kitchen/living room kind of thing)- When paired with the GoveeLife Hygrometer, gives really accurate temperature readings.- once it reaches the set temperature, it doesn't deviate by more than a degree or two. That's very different than brands like Lasko that have several degrees Fahrenheit of "wobble" from when they cut on and off- Scheduling rocks! I can set this to warm up my room before I start getting up in the morning, or to start warming it up a while before I get home.- The app is really intuitive once it's set up, and it's kind of fun to watch the temperature graph to see how well the heater works.- Voice activation with Google home works well, and also works with multiple GoveeLife heaters (just set them to have different names then you can control them independently). Again, this is a HUGE plus for me given my disability.- This is better than the other GoveeLife heaters since it has more controls on the tower heater itself, plus a temperature reading.Downside (kind of)- You really should pair this with one of the GoveeLife Hygrometers to get accurate temperature readings. Just like with any old space heater, the internal temperature sensor will be hotter than the room itself… So having the Hygrometer will give you accurate temperature readings. There's another $14, but totally worth it- More expensive (including after the $14 Hygrometer) than pretty much any other space heater set up, but worth it.If you can afford this plus the Hygrometer, and you value accurate temperature readings and the ability to operate the heater when your Wi-Fi's down, go for this. If you don't care about temperature control when the Wi-Fi is down, then getting one of the cheaper models should work well (you can still turn them on and off, and set the heater power to low/medium/high) and they take up less space.

This heater has solved so many things for me. I researched many heaters. I knew I wanted a "Smart" one that I could control with an app and potentially using Alexa. This one supports both. I can control all the settings through Alexa. I can turn it on or off, control specific temperature settings, enable/disable oscillation, etc. Because of how well this has worked, I considered buying a second one. And if I can remember turning it off, I can check the app to see if it's on, and turn it off as desired. The app is great because I can even control it when I'm not home. I love the Auto mode. You set the temp that you want, it stays on until it reaches that temp, then shuts the heat off. Then if the temp goes below the requested setting, the heat turns back on. So you don't have to keep turning it on and off to heat the area. This was definitely a good purchase for me. But didn't come to the decision to purchase this particular one quickly. I did a lot of personal research and this one check off all the boxes for me...at least in its description. And once I got it, the description held up in reality. Overall it's been a great product for me in all the ways I needed it.

Me gusta que mi hijo lo puede prender solo, se apaga automaticamente quando la temperatura de aire llega hasta nivel predeterminado, se ve bonito. No lo uso con Alexa, pero si se conecta, aun la funcionalidad es limitada, es mejor usarlo con su app.
