Perfect phone holder
Love this little ring. I fidget with it almost everyday and it still works great. Easy to remove and put on so I can charge my phone. Also magnetic so I can stick it on things such as workout equipment.Bought this September 2024. Works great, however, july 2024 the ring for your finger became very loose. This could be my fault due to dropping my phone a lot. I bought a second one because I loved it so much. The second one came looking very different, doesn't even say the syncwire name on it like the pictures and first one i received. Also the second one does not magnetize to things other than my phone. With the first one I was able to put my phone on workout equipment, fridge or anything metal and it would hold my entire phone because of the holder. This second one does not do that. Very disappointing that I ordered from the same page and get something different.

Great Functionality! Better Support!
I purchased one of these cell phone rings / stands in the middle of November. It has worked well with every day use until the middle of April, when the outer rubber coating's adhesive layer failed (it did not affect the functionality of the ring mechanism .... just did not look so good). I reached out to their support group via email. I received a response the next day with questions; which I immediately responded to. The next day they responded saying they had shipped out a new replacement; which I am currently using.Pros:- Comfortable to use- Internal ratcheting mechanism is easy to overcome, but holds the ring in place- Works well for watching movies on a plane (or any table I suppose)- Mechanical ring slides off of magnet adhered to the back of my cell phone case easily (but not too easy, so I'm worried about my phone falling off while using it)Cons:- It is slightly bulky. So, I remove the ring when wearing slim pants- I had to purchase a special wireless charger. My standard one did not work all the time (I think it was worth it to have this ring)When / If I wear this one out, I will definitely purchase another one!

Functionally works well but has some issues
As far as the design, it’s pretty slim so it’s not thinker than the camera bump protector part of my phone case which is nice. The ring is a good size for a solid grip and has strong magnets.Down sides are that you can’t charge through it but also the ring starts to get loose pretty quickly. It has points it will be solid but will then wiggle a couple millimeters either way from there. There’s also a rubber coating on the outside. That’s great for keeping it from sliding when stuck to metal surfaces but that also just started coming off as well.Update: one day after posting this the hinge broke completely where it won’t hold my phone up anymore.

Not a pop socket replacement
Note: I'm speaking from being a years long pop-socket user. Way back to folks not knowing what they are and making fun of my "non-suction suction cup" holder. After 12yrs (best estimate) my pop socket finally gave out so I decided to try something new. This magsafe trend intrigued me - especially the versatility to mount up on any metal surface. So the magnetic hold on metal plates is great. I place it on the benches at the gym, car body (stationary), fridge....it's fantastic. Unfortunately I bought the older version of the base and it absolutely cannot work; even with the metal plate behind the phone case. The iPhone 14 and Samsung s23 ultra are too big for it. I also bought a 3rd party holder (rectangular with arm cantilevered from suction cup) but this version also doesn't attach well to it. I would buy the snycwire v2 holder but.....This holder is NOT comfortable. In order to have a secure hold, I need to pinch my finger between it and the base. The inside edge of the ring is tapered to give you leverage when opening the grip, but it also digs into my skin. Only an issue when holding your phone for longer than 4ish minutes.Without pinching, the phone is very unstable in my hands. I have large hands and it still feels like it's on the verge of falling. I've also tried rotating the ring so it'll "pinch" my finger that way. But any slight force will cause the ring to click out of position: ergo slip out my hand.I don't know if there is any better alternative out there, so I'm likely going back to pop sockets. I'll also add that the stand feature is really good. I expected it to fall over when I propped it up but it holds it steady at almost infinite angles.

Worked great while it lasted, then everything fell apart at the same time...
Really was working great, sturdy ring positioning, magnetic base sticks well and a nicely detented ring rotation, which is the only feature that's still working now. Things started to fall apart about a month ago which is less than half a year since I actually started using it. First the ring suddenly and unexplicably went limp and would not hold ANY angle, then I found a black rubber band in my pant's pocket, couldn't figure out where it came from at first but soon realized it was the rubberized "ring" on the underside of the magnetic base. Without that it can slide much easier off the magnet. Really wanted to give it a higher rating as I liked it a lot but hard to like something that only lasts a few months... just more of the same to the land fill so disappointed

Great but kinda weak
Its super great and as slim as a dvd, barely feels like i have it on my phone, when I’m in the gym however it falls half the time with any amount of shake to a squat bar or machine, so i need to lay it on a flat surface on my phones back versus hanging it upright. Still great tho it fits in my pocket like nothing
