Nenu Teether Bud (Color: Watermelon)

Our baby had 2 bottom teeth pretty much on his 4 month birthday, so he was young and didn't have as much motor control as an older child. We tried lots of high quality teethers, focusing on Made in the USA, Made in Europe, or materials like rubber and wood. We tried the Nenu, Hevea Panda, Sweet Tooth, The Egg, Haba wood teether, Sophie the Giraffe, and Homi Baby wood rattle.Nenu - his FAVORITE to chew on, easy to grasp, lightweight, doesn't attract dirt/dust, small enough to fit in his mouth but large enough to not pose choking hazard, one of the most affordable options. He will happily gnaw on this for 30+ minutes without dropping it. WINNERHevea Panda - he definitely likes to chew on it, despite it's large overall size. The main con is that it gets sticky, and attracts dust and pet hair. I feel like I have to constantly wash it to keep it clean. It's not cute, but it's not meant to be a toy either.Sophie the Giraffe - he loves the squeeky sound, she's adorable AF, and he does like to chew on her. It is pricey - twice the cost of anything else on my list. And when we're around dogs, they confuse it for a dog toy and slobber over it. And it's the largest option physically, which makes it less portable for packed diaper bags and such.Sweet Tooth/The Egg - these two are very similar in shape and size. They're a little too wide to fit in his mouth, and too short and stubby to grasp easily. Maybe when he's older these will have more appeal, but my baby never picks them upHaba Wood Teether/Homi Baby Wood Rattle - these are fun toys to play with, and he will chew on them for a bit, but I don't think they actually give him relief from teething discomfort. He mostly wants to play with them with his hands.

I bought this little guy and the Nenu bug for my baby because they’re made in the USA of medical grade silicone, so I feel good about him chewing on them. These are his favorite chew toys out of all the teethers he has, he can actually hold them very well and they’re not frustrating for him like some of the others he can’t quite handle very well on his own yet. He’s been playing with the Nenu bug since he was 3 months old, it was his first toy he could hold by himself for a long period of time. He’s 5 months now and the bug was still his favorite so I got him this one and he loves it too.We also have the Nenu spoons which are great and we gave a set to my niece because I feel really good about this company and the safety of their products. I would definitely recommend any of the Nenu baby teethers and utensils and if they come out with more I will be more than happy to buy them. Nenu rocks!

I love that this teether is made in the USA, it's the first thing I looked for. Baby loves his "Chew Man" as it's easy to hold and has different textures and parts to chew on. I also like that there aren't any parts that are too long as to get shoved too far down his throat (I'm looking at you, Sophie).Thank you for making your product in the USA!

My son loves chewing on this. Having a ring and two types of nubs is great. It's lightweight and the right thickness which makes it easy for him to hold and learn dexterity with.It arrived just a couple days late, so the company added to the package an extra one, a couple of their spoons, and a hand-written note apologizing for the delay. I didn't think that level of customer service existed anymore!!! Way above and beyond.This is made in the USA, and it's made using materials that came from the USA. So no fear of Chinese chemicals, plus the bonus of supporting the few manufacturing jobs that remain in the US.

Well worth the money. My grandson seems to really like the 2 Buds I ordered for him. They're easy to hold and apparently feel good on his gums. We store them in the freezer between usages. Being made in the USA was what drew my attention in the first place as we're putting nothing made in China in our little guy's mouth. The company was 4 or 5 days late in shipping them but put a handwritten note in the box apologizing for the delay - not many companies care that much any more. I will buy more of their products in the future.

Made in the USA, easy to hold, great for teething, really easy to clean. Awesome product. They sent me a set of spoons cause the product shipped a little later than originally stated. Great customer service.

It wasn't an easy task to find a teether made in the USA. The design makes for easy grasping for baby. My grandbaby is in the early stage of teething and enjoys gnawing on both ends of the teether.One end is like a circle in the baby's mouth and the other end is like a a very short stick. This provides the feel of two distinctly different teethers in one. My grandbaby noticed this because as he started getting a bit fussy, I switched the teether to the other end in his mouth and there was a subtle but noticeable look on his face, indicating that he noticed the change. He stopped fussing for a bit longer. :-)I am very happy that so many popular chemicals were not included in the manufacturing process. The customer service is appreciative and thoughtful.I've been out of the baby loop for many years, so this company is new to me. I am impressed.

I struggled to find a good quality teether that my son liked and was made in the USA with safe materials, so I was thrilled when I found this! I will be buying more for myself and for my mother who watches him, because no other teether can compare now!
