One of the few texts in the Shaw alphabet
When George Bernard Shaw died, he left some money for the best new alphabet specifically designed for the English language. The winner was used to print his play ^Androcles and the Lion^. Since then, not many new texts have been printed in the new alphabet, all precisely phonemic (not phonetic) and ingenious (vowels are halfsize, consonants are mirror-paired voiceless-voiced) tho it is. A new font for the alphabet was designed for this book, and Alice was duly transcribed with it. Personally, I find the new font could use some improvement, as I find the serifs unnecessary and the average blackness of the letters inconsistent. Still, for those who wish to build up their reading speed on Shavian, this is now available.

For those interested in Shavian
This book is only for those interested in learning or reading the phonetic alphabet "Shavian". I am one of those people so I think this, and the other books transliterated into Shavian are great.

Historical book
Nyctography is a technic of writining created by Lewis Carroll in 1891. The own book "Alice.." totally written in nyctography is a amazing item that is totally unlostable for Alice's fans!

Not a book for reading, but still oddly 𐐼𐐮𐑆𐐴𐐲𐑉𐐲𐐺𐐲𐑊...
There may be at most half-a-dozen people in the entire world that could actually read this book, as a book. Of course it's the fabulous classic in a fine edition that's well produced. But the Deseret Alphabet rendition makes it essentially a conversation piece. I don't think you could even call it a translation, though, because it's still in English. Just not in an orthography that English speakers are accustomed to. For that matter, not in an orthography that the vast majority of English speakers are even aware of. Is it really the Deseret Alphabet? How would you know? Is it really correct in all the particulars? How would you know? I suspect these will be handed around as an amusement and gifted as white elephants, or perhaps gifted to that bibliophile who otherwise already has everything. But nobody is going to read it. But how, really, could you not really want a copy?𐐐𐐵 𐐶𐐳𐐼 𐐷𐐭 𐐨𐑂𐐲𐑌 𐑌𐐬 𐐮𐑁 𐐮𐐻'𐐯𐑅 𐑉𐐨𐐲𐑊𐐨 𐐿𐐲𐑉𐐯𐐿𐐻?
