Not as wide a spread as I would like but I'm limited to how far I can move it back. App is simple but effective.

For $50.00 you would need 6 for a walkway, $300.00. They have to have electric. Nothing more than clouds that circle. $15.00 product being sold for $50.00. You can point it at plants or your house. Solar lights are easier and cheaper. I’d recommend color Lindkin L67, 6 for $99.00 no electric needed. Regret Oblivia purchase, live and learn. Same as other bliss light’s except they’re indoors.

I was disappointed to learn that these have to be constantly connected to WiFi to work, which makes it very difficult to use them outdoors (where my WiFi signal is not great). I guess you could just use a manual timer to plug them into but then you would just get the default color/setting which is all 3 colors. However, I set these up with specific colors and used the built in timer in the app to turn them on at night and off during the day. The downside is when they get disconnected from WiFi the timer no longer works. Even worse I have to unplug them and bring them inside to connect to the WiFi again and cross my fingers it will stay connected. Not worth the hassle in my opinion. I wish this had some manual controls like the older style bliss lights so it wasn’t dependent on an app or WiFi.

The only thing that I feel could be improved here is that I find the brightness kind of low for outdoor use, well, at least if your house is on a well lit street in a city where it never actually truly gets that dark. It's still going to be good enough after the sun has completely set but it could be brighter.The casing is all plastic but feels study enough, and everything is rain tight including the power adapter. The power adapter is a good quality UL listed model and is safe to use where it'll get wet (which is not always what you get), and it's nice and compact and has no issues fitting inside of an exterior outlet that has a weather cover dome over it (many outdoor lights come with power adapters that won't fit in these boxes at all).Connecting to the BlissLights app is simple, only takes a few seconds, and it connects via WiFi so you can control it from anywhere or at any distance away as long as it has a connection which is much better than lights that are bluetooth controlled only.The effect is nice, though there isn't much to it and hardly any customization other than brightness and the speed of the rotation effect (when enabled). It gives a nice projection that isn't just a straight up pattern that looks cheap, there is depth to it and the way the multiple "layers" mix together is visually interesting.

Update: Dec. 2023. More than a month has gone by and Amazon now states that I was refunded for this purchase...no never happened. They say they issued the refund the day after I received the item...how is this possible? Buyer beware!Original post: I was able to set the app up indoors and you need to be beside your router to get it to connect. Ounce connected the app, and it worked fine. But then you need to unplug this and move it...disconnects and does not remember the connection. So then it means that you must have it plugged into an outdoor power outlet at all times and it will not work if a light switch is turned on or off. Second to this, you need to have your phone on at all times. Not a plug-and-play item...returned it for that reason. Bluetooth design is overthinking the necessity to turn the light on or off.

Pros:- Projects very cool design- Has an app to control things?- Power connectors all have screw over connectors to protect against immersion in waterCons:- Could not connect to app- Instructions are all in App, not super clear- Power button doesn't seem to do anything but reset itIt looked really cool, and I included a video of using it on my ceiling, as it seemed the best way to show it. However, mine came with no instructions, and there was just a QR code on the side of the box to download a control app. I figured out how to attach the plug (there are screws for water tightness), and the app gave me instructions on how to connect it, but I could not get it connected. After 30 minutes, I just gave up.Also, pushing the power button would not turn it off. It would just power cycle, and then turn back on. So it has to be unplugged to turn it off.The stake for the ground is a hard plastic that wouldn't survive a winter, it would definitely dry out and crack, but it seems stiff enough to hold it in the ground, and there's an adjustable bolt for angling it.I can't evaluate the app, because I couldn't get it to work. So, considering all the features it MAY have, but that I couldn't get to work, I have to mark this down. It looks cool, but I can't see what else it's supposed to do, and the reset button that seems to be marked as a power button is just weird.

- The BlissLights Oblivia is quite interesting as it shoots out a projection through a lens and it creates a very nice look. The ones that are currently for sale, which is the one that I got, doesn’t have RGB led, but only white and warm (yellow) colour light. But it can still create very small colours when projected out because the lights appear to bend through the lens and create a tiny touch of colours. But if you want true colour, then I’d suggest looking for the BlissLights Obilivia model that has RGB.- The lights come with a plug and are sealed via screw nuts on both ends so it has a relatively good weather resistance, especially with the rain and snow. You could also pair this through an app with your phone to have more control over it. On the unit itself, there is only 1 button that really does everything, from pairing to changing colour temperatures to on/off. And so I think the app is a great option. But even if you like using your phone, you could still use the unit without the app. I like such options.- Overall, it’s a nice globe that projects out nice light patterns and is good for outdoors decorations as it has good weather seal connectors on both ends.
