The device shutdown within a couple of minutes of first use. The unit has overheating protection but never allowed anything to get warm except the device itself. I tried a new one thinking I got a bad unit but the new one does the same thing.If you only want heat for a couple of minutes every 10 minutes then buy this. Otherwise save your money.

PUTS OUT A GOOD AMOUNT OF HEAT FOR A SMALL BATHROOM. only thing I didn't like was that the fan never shuts off, even when temperature reaches set degree, and then it blows cool air. I'm not sure if this was a faulty heater or not, but I returned it.

Instructions hard to read, my plug meant I had to insert upside down - Once I was used to reading that way it works relatively well, Remote never worked and seems super cheaply made.

I love the heater. But why do I to plug it in upside down. Can't even read display. Until right on top of it. Even then have to look upside down. 99 degrees looks like 66. Just the main thing I've noticed. And it takes up both plug ins in outlet. My apartment is new so it's up to code so it's not like outlets are installed wrong. But for the price it's OK. Nice for small bathrooms like I have it in. And the upside-down thing, I'm able to live with. Hope this helps

Bought to use in living room. Doesn't provide much heat unless you are sitting next to it. Electrical plug came apart from body 2nd year of use.

Purchased 2 of these units , first one ,i tried runs for about 3 min and quits running. Possibly the safety switch faulty. Second one, i purchased @ the same time worked longer never quite but it's stops heating like the unit is getting to hot and kicks off . Room is about 10x10 moves the temp up some but not enough like the advertisement stated. Also if your light socket is old the unit will not sit properly , and yes, i did move the adjustable plug in the back .

Bought this for my son's bedroom, it's a 12x12 room, heats the room up nicely, I live in Northwest Florida so it's not terribly cold but it gets the job done.

When I opened the package - the device face did not look new.Doesn't heat at all. I plugged it in and set the temp to 72 degrees and it ran for about 2 minutes and then shut down. I reset it by following the directions and it did the same thing again...There was nothing blocking air flow and it was not in small space (Bathroom).
