Stronghold Games Survive Dolphins and Dive Dice Mini Expansion Board Game

Good family game. Pity they have utilised the whale for the squids as well - obviously an after though under the disguise of an expansion. Good fun though. There are tactics and strategies that can be used so not just reliant on the dice throws. Good that even if you lose all your people you still play on by removing tiles and rolling the dice and generally annoying people by putting sharks into their hexes, wrecking boats, moving dolphins away from swimmers and letting the giant squids grab people from the land. Good way of falling out. There are some home grown add on rules for Jaws, Moby Dick and Mermaids.

We're massive fans of the survive board game, and this expansion does a great job of enhancing the base game. However, similar to the other expansion I purchased, I was disappointed that it game in a flimsy, clear plastic bag rather than a small box.

If you like the base game you will love the expansions they add all new dynamics to the game.
