I am an electrician and I have to say that these lights are spectacular. My clients could not be more satisfied and happy with these lights. They look spectacular. They are not outrageously bright and are wonderful lights at night. Plus, they are practically invisible when they are off.

I installed them in a soffit above my customers kitchen cabinets. She loves them. Their small size does not detract from the beauty of the cabinetry, as typical can lights do. and they put out a surprising amount of light.

You need to make a few test holes first to make sure you have it just right. Not much room for error. But once you have the right hole, they are perfect. Good light.

Overall, I’m pretty happy with these lights after using them on a kitchen project. They are very compact and fairly bright for 1 watt. Keep in mind that most LED components come with short wire leads, and you must attach additional wire to make them useful for your specific need. The one negative I found right off was that the spring clips are not positioned 180° from each other… because of that, they don’t apply pressure equally outward and they caused the lights to not sit flash in the holes. I had to remove the clips and instead drill a 9/16” hole… which allowed them to friction fit. But I also used some adhesive caulk to secure them in place.

Everything worked amazing. All these reviews saying that they don't work sound like they were installed incorrectly. Everything was labeled properly Black and red is DC (polarity matters) , Unmarked white wires are AC and polarity didn't matter between the hot and neutral. I bought two of the recommended 15w drivers and they worked amazing, I split them with 6w worth of lights on one, and 3 watts worth of lights on the other and had no heat issues. I just installed them so we will see about the longevity of the lights, but so far so good. I do electrical and approve of these lights. Im very satisfied and so is my customer.

The first set I installed went perfectly well. Simple installation and wiring. They look good and work good. I liked them enough to get another set for another project. Unfortunately, this time the transformer was junk in spite of its QC Passed stamp. 30 day returns only work if in new condition and of course I had confidently cut and soldered everything to fit since the first set worked so well. Looks like a suitable replacement transformer will be $13.00. Certainly not the end of the world but rather disappointing. Test before installing.
