The packaging is quite unique. The material is vacuum sealed and compressed so when you open it, it fluffs up a lot. I bought the smallest graded size, 1-3mm. Next time I would buy the larger size. It still works well with the soil, but larger size will provide more benefits imo.

ive purchased vermiculite several times from various sellers but this time i recieved something that took me by surprise. usually the verm comes in a loosely packed bag inside a box that was sometimes sealed & sometimes not. this package of vermiculite showed up vacuum sealed & it was maybe 1/2" thick i was impressed. they seem to care about the quality of their product. i recommend this seller.

Based on the picture of the vermiculite, I assumed it was in a bag. So very surprised when it turned out to be a thin sheet of vermiculite. Really at a loss on how to used this format in planting new plants. It could be high grade of vermiculite but not user-friendly compressed into thin sheet.

Bought last year and never used. Pulled it out this year to start some plants. This was my first time. I got them in the propagation box and expected to not see much due to cooler weather. WOW was i wrong. A few days later and my flowers were sprouting! This really works great! I mixed 1/2 and 1/2 with potting soil so it would go further and I have no regrets!!

It helped the seeds to come up!

Should’ve read the size more carefully, you don’t get a lot of product.
