Avigal Henna (Color for Hair) Black 17.6 Oz

My old review of this product said this product didn't color grey hair, as that was my initial experience, but I've kept at it and actually had some good results.As I think someone else mentioned, if you use a red first this black will cover it. I've also found thst if I mix this black with one of the reds then it covers better and still comes out a nice, inky black that shows a little red (or burgandy) in the sun.Also, it seems to stick better when I leave out the oil I used to add for moisture. It also helps to add boiling water and let it steep, like tea, until it cools enough to apply it.My hair is naturally black but going grey at an alarming pace. I don't want to soak my head in chemicals every six weeks, so this stuff has become a must-have for me. It takes a little experimentation and practice, but the results are definitely worthwhile.

Terrible product. I was very exited to try this brand. When I opened I get a big puff of dust. The product is not in a bag. I just lose in the container. Instructions are in a little bag inside the container. So you have to dig for it. I follow instructions. and after and hour my hair look the same!!!What a waste of time. Thank God for Amazon !! I have no problem filing for my refund. This item is going back as I'm writing this review.

Avigal Henna is the best henna for covering grey and white hair. Most hennas don't absorb in to grey or white hair, but Avigal does.

The color was great but I had to take a benedryl when I finished and my scalp itched for days.

The thing about black henna is unless you want truly black shiny hair you should not use black because even if you use half red half black will be more a cherry black than any form red. All of Avigal's products are wonderful and all healthy for your hair.

This is so horrible the only way to bind the mixture is with glue and that's not recommended. It's like twigs so you can't apply it. Ridiculous

Its messy, but after using it, it was the perfect shade i was looking for. And it made my hair super shiny.

It product didn't work to get my gray out and I will not get again, I waste money and time.
