This is a rather nice soft knit cap. It's a bit tighter fitting than most of these types of caps I own, but I do appreciate that it has a different look than those as there isn't a floppy bit left over at the top. It is more snug around the head too, which I'm not sure that I care for, but I'm hoping it loosens a bit in time.The hat isn't as warm as my other knit caps, which I'm happy about. I have a couple that are great for cold weather, so it's nice to have one that I'm able to wear in cooler weather and not be as hot. It's summer now, and I've worn it a couple of times in the mornings and it's been breathable and light enough that I didn't sweat in it. Sometimes it's just nice to have a cap to cover my bedhead.Overall, this is a nice addition to my hat collection. It isn't going to be my go-to in the dead of winter, but it's certainly one I can wear on summer mornings or during the fall. It's well made and, while snug, feels good on my head.

Honestly, even if this hat didn't fit and had a big hole in the top I would probably still give it 5 stars because the ziplock bag it arrived in was so funny. This thing was made for gift giving.This was exactly the style/knit weight I was hoping it would be from the product page photo. A true skull fit beanie...not a big, floppy slouch style. You could probably slide the brim down a little bit if you need it floppier, but the smiley face guy only goes so low. And he's the best part of the design.The knit is a nice, soft not-too-heavy fabrication. Even in the Summer you sometimes need a beanie down at the beach when the wind starts whipping at night. It's heavy enough that it will still work when it snows, but it won't be the warmest hat you own. The knit is thick enough to make this part of your 4 season gear, tho.It's well made. The knitting is tight with no snags or loose stitches like you sometimes find at the mall. And the smiley face guy is just fun. Going back for some more colors asap.

Great beanie, the material is comfortable. The only thing is, it's not for fellow people with larger heads out there, like me. Otherwise, it would have been a 5 star.

Even though I won't need a knit hat for a couple seasons, I liked the color of this one, so when it came up on Amazon I ordered it to give it a try. I'm happy to report that it is just about what I expected in terms of quality, and the color matches what was shown on the Amazon page pretty closely.It doesn't have any fancy lining or extra features, it's like the vintage knit hats we used to buy when I was a kid. So it might itch a little, but that's part of the deal with a warm knit hat. Recommended because it sells for a good price and it's nice and warm. It's definitely not sized large, but it is stretchy so it ended up fitting me fine.

This beanie is exactly as pictured. The little smiley face is super cute. It's also super warm. And I just love the color.

This hat is stretchy comfy and cute. It’s definitely more of a spring or fall hat, though. It’s a little thin and it’s unlined. It would be too cold for a typical winter in the north east or Midwest. But man, does it look cute!
