I believe it runs big. I bought it in black to wear under a mother of groom dress. Just wanted something to pull me in a little. When I opened it, unfortunately I saw it said size medium on the garment and on the bag it said small. I ordered size small, so I was disappointed from the gecko! I tried it on and despite the fact that is a medium not a small, it looked ok if all you want is to smooth your torso and your stomach area, and not minimize it a little. Also the thigh area is mesh, so you need to be careful when putting it on and off to avoid your nails creating a pull, run or rip, so i guess medium would be looser to work with. All in all, is very comfortable so I'm keeping it to wear everyday under my work clothes and jeans because is that comfortable, not tight and it does smooth me out. But I'm ordering another one in black and also beige in size small to see if I get what i ordered the 2nd time around. I definitely want the small for myself. To give you an idea Im 5.4' and 157lbs. So if you are a true small, medium may be too big. I hope this helps.

These really stay up! No heavy seams that show through, no panty lines, no rolling at the leg and very comfortable for everyday wear. They do a great job of smoothing out the curves but if you are looking for something that's REALLY going to suck you in these won't work. I purchased the ones with boning, so make sure you order the correct product!

This is my first pair of spanks. I got it to wear under my wedding dress so my thighs won’t rub together. I did a lot of review reading prior to getting this one. SO HAPPY WITH MY CHOICE. I got a small. It looks TINY out the package but stretches beautifully. Not too much but enough so that everything is tight. There are little wires to hold the top up. I have no idea if the top rolls down yet or if the thighs ride up. I’ll do an edit on that later. But overall comfortability is amazing. I’m 5’7 and 154 lbs.

I ordered this for tummy and thigh support and it is comfortable and very supportive at the same time. It’s a great price too. I was going to get one at JcPenneys but it was like $53. Definitely worth it!

I like the way it feels and fits. I ordered a XXL & I am about 200 pounds & 5'4.

They are very comfortable and very tight in keeping it all inside if you know what I mean, but if you bend over a few times and walk around, the legs ride up and the top scrunches down a little. The bones are nice in keeping the top up, but they do dig in a little when you bend over. Overall very nice, but I did return them because I wanted something a little more comfortable.

These shapers seem to be well made. I bought the size it said I should need, but they are way too small. I know shapers are supposed to be tight, that’s the whole idea. But, I couldn’t get these past my knees. Totally don’t work for me.
