The thing I didn't;t know I needed!?
Remember when Apple first announced the iPad? I remember thinking, "why would I need one of those, I have a laptop, I have a large screen phone?" Then, after I getting one, I realised "I never knew I needed one!?" The same is true for me on this too;On those hot stuffy evenings where an A/C is too noisy / pricey / intrusive a fan would be just right.I'm one for liking subdued light and also the ability to vary brightness and colour of the light in my rooms as well as colour temperature too (preferably from a physical remote & an app as well). Well, this does all that. The brightness does not come through in my photos I should tell you; I tried to show 2 different colour temps (set to the dimmest in the pic), plus red and also a full brightness LED light shot - but I think the phones' camera compensated so they look out the same in brightness. It does get very bright and can get down to very dim too.The split colours LED lights are dimmable too - except, you need to use the app to vary the brightness - which is really my only complaint of the physical remote - you can vary the brightness of the white LED lights just not the coloured lights (though you can in the app).I really wanted the grey one but just couldn't stretch to the price of that one at the time - so as you can see, I got the all white model. Which still looks fine but I do have a grey theme in my bedroom - so I REALLY wanted the grey one.Once funds allow, I will likely buy another for the living room and then I'll hopefully get a grey, displacing the white to the lvg rm.It's also used via an app in "Tuya Smart" which adds it to Alexa. It does add two items essentially, so a Fan & a Fan light (which it appends the manufacturer names too - which can be renamed to your own choice). The app is more powerful in control but the hard remote is still very good. The only thing I'd like to have seen on the physical remote is the ability to vary the coloured lights - the standard light is fully variable from the physical remote - just not the coloured LED backlight function (as I say, they can with the app). When it was delievered, I was a little worried; whilst it was fairly big, it was also quite light. Genuinely, I needn't have worried, it was fine and the build quality was quite good as well.Fitting was really easy; the base unclips & that has a very large surface area within which to deploy screws into the ceiling (screws & plugs are provided but in my case, the gap between the existing screw holes from the original ceiling light rose, aligned perfectly - so it was fitted in genuinely, 3 mins using my existing screws. There's a shortish steel which allows the fitter to hang it whilst the electrical wires are connected ((it's earthed by the way)) so - again very straight forward. All you then do is present the fan-light back up to the base & rotate it a bit to clip it on).Switching the room main light switch On & off - shows that it remembers its last settings - which I thought was a bonus. The fan's has various modes and speeds but its lowest setting is barely audible and is just fine to leave on giving you a nice subtle breeze all night - or via a timer if you prefer (so set it to run for say, 2 hours & switch off automatically). The fan is also reversible for winter mode too - so when it's colder and your heating is on, the fan pulls air up from below the fan, mixing it with warmer air at the top of th eroom (heat rises don't forget) & then blowing it across the ceiling, which then dissipates down the walls & so on back up in the centre up toward the fan again - so heat is better distributed in the room.Summer does the reverse - so air is blown down beneath the fan from the top of the room, up the outer parts of the rom. In my case, the fan is right above the bed so perfectly located. So, easy to fit, easy to set-up, easy to control, quiet & cool. I really like mine & am genuinely glad I bought it and would genuinely recommend one.

Great fan/light combo
These fan/light combos are great. I’ve used similar in hot countries overseas and the fan makes it so much easier to sleep when it’s warm or humid. Wanted them in the UK but the issue I found here was low ceilings and most of the fans were deep, this isn’t and yet it can still produce a powerful airflow that works effectively. At any of the 6 speeds, it’s very quiet so you need to check for a breeze to know it’s going. I like the. Autotimer function so it switches the fan off after an hour or 2 hours so that it’s not always running all night (but you can do this if you wish). The light is clear and bright, very adjustable and easily controlled by the remote. Not used the app, remote is just as good. Installation was easy, can be a bit awkward but can be done by 1 person. This is the second one I’ve bought, can’t fault either.

Quiet fan
We like that this was easy to install as we’re not DIY people. It sits near to the ceiling and looks nice. Not too heavy looking in a small bedroom. It’s nice to have the remote with different settings for lighting and 6 speed fan. It’s quiet and smooth. The only criticism is that it looks a bit plasticky, not so sturdy looking but must say it does the job very well

All Good
These fans are very light compared to our old broken fan that resembled the front of a Spitfire. They are much closer to the ceiling and relatively easy to fit, it also looks good. The brightness of the main light is really good as is the ambient uplighter.Fan is really quite and can be felt around the room.Seems like a good purchase with £50 off!I suppose time will tell on the quality but I don't think it will last 25yrs like the last one!

Way too expensive for what it is
Super overpriced.Plastic on the fan is shiny and cheap, no wood or quality materials. The lighting is good and app functionality is nice. The fan is small so it only works if it's mounted directly over a chair or something. It doesn't cool the room down if you sit 1 meter away from it.I regret spending so much on it, a larger fan would've been much better

Great product with good functions and powerful fan
Great product easy to install. Ordered 2 but 1 was faulty so requested exchange but only offered a refund. Pretty annoying that when I then went to reorder the replacement the price had gone up substantially and I ended up paying an extra 20 pounds for a replacement to something that was faulty. But a good product.
