Emergency Room Proven
My daughter has extremely complicated congenital heart defects. Due to these defects, she is a Fontan patient. The Fontan procedure is a complex surgery that anyone treating my daughter absolutely must be made aware of. She also has a pacemaker that is not compatible with an MRI machine. How would I fit all that on a small band? The most I can get on most ID tags is: heart defects and her cardiologist's name and number.Update: We just got back from the emergency room with a scare concerning her pace maker (she is fine). The Life ID worked perfect. All the information the ER staff needed was right there, and I got an alert on my phone indicating that the info. had been scanned and opened by medical personnel. This medical ID bracelet is so much better than the other medical ID necklaces and bracelets my daughter wears. Every time I need to change anything, I always needed to get new tag. Not anymore. What I Love:-The amount of vital information first responders and medical staff have in a matter of seconds is insane. Name, address, medical information, emergency contacts, prescriptions, insurance, and more. I can even record her pacemaker model and her cardiologist's name and number.-I can edit the information if there are any changes. So easy.-A notification is sent to my cell phone when the QR code is scanned.-It's a QR code. My elderly mother may not know what a QR code is, but just about everyone else does. Even my technology-challenged husband knew what to do with the QR code when I showed it to him with no explanation.-The red band makes it obvious that it's a medical alert ID-The tag slides off so I can make a custom band for it.-No yearly subscription fee. Wow!-If necessary, a picture can be taken and the code can be sent elsewhere. This could be handy by keeping a picture on your phone and giving it to medical personell in case the ID tag is forgotten at home. What I Don't Like:-The buckle is kind of heavy for my daughter, but since the tag slides off, I was able to order a band EasyRead Time Teacher Children's Watch Strap off Amazon and it is perfect.I love this ID bracelet. This is a must for anyone with a medical condition or any kind of communication difficulty such as Autism or Dementia.

I feel better (medically) just having it on!
I like this idea! Someone did a good thing making this product, and I am confident that I will be able to give medical personnel my information now! I recently had a stent put in, and ten days later, I had a heart attack! Try sitting in the back of an ambulance and recite all the pills I take, and why I take them. It was hard to remember the placement of the Stent, and the material it was made out of, and if I need a MRI, will I be able to have one? I take a bunch of pills, and two of them are blood thinners. I was worried, should I get into an accident, that I could give someone a complete list of all the pills I take? and why I take them! and how many MG of each medicine do I take at a time? If I get into an accident, what do I say, "Take me first, I could bleed to death if you don't!" That is just not in my nature, I think of other people first. Just saying! With this handy-dandy item, the medical team has not only my medical information, but also my emergency contacts, and their phone numbers. It has my Insurance information, and every question a hospital or emergency person might need. It is ready, right there on my wrist and it works with Android and Apple, anything that can scan, will scan, and be able to get all the information they need. (It also has my picture, who cares if it is 10 years old? I still look the same age in my mind!) I can't tell you this has changed my life, but I can tell you that it WILL change my life.

When you can't tell others ...
At the age of 66 and 45 years as a first responder, I've incurred a few serious medical issues. Over the years I've purchased many of the Medical ID bracelets to include those with a USB. The problems in the past were such that the products were poorly designed or the fact that many first responders lack immediate access to computers that can read a USB. The LifeID uses a QR code of which can be read by ANY smartphone with a camera. Needless to say, I know most people today own a smartphone. This is most important when it comes to accessing my own medical history in an emergency. The LifeID bracelet is inexpensive and durable. Customer service is outstanding and if there are any issues, LifeID takes care of your problem immediately with their lifetime guarantee. If you use a medical identification bracelet or are considering the purchase of one ... this is the bracelet you need!! Thank you LifeID for producing a product that is so easy to use and the best I've found!

I love it, it is so much easier than the old chains and bracelets.
There is nothing that I do not like about this. I forget that I have it on and it is just so easy to scan and have all of your info. Very easy to edit you info on the computer, no need to try and read engraving and find paper work.

The scan code on bracelet has rubbed and no longer works
Thought it was a good product but now no it’s not. If I was in an accident they would not be able to scan to see all my medical information.Purchased in April 2022 and it’s no longer working.

Se despinto después de 1 mes de uso normal,
El grabado es muy fragil y nada duradero, deben mejorar sus materiales. Imposible que dure mad alla de unas pocas semanas.

Good idea but…..
Have only had it a little over a month and the lettering is all wearing off, in no time I am sure that it will not be able to be scanned successfully as parts of it will be missing. Very disappointed. Have tried to contact the company but got no response.UPDATE: The company has reached out and have provided a new one. The new one is definitely better, it is laser engraved not just painted on the top. Happy with the new one. Would now give it 5 stars
