Living in SW Florida seems to get hotter and more humid every year. We have many cotton blankets that are just too warm. I ordered TWINY threads Waffle Blankets 100% Cotton King Size Bed Blanket because the Product's Page said, "Special Feature: Soft, Lightweight, Washable."The deep, teal green color appealed to me. I was pleased there was no off-gassing odor, but I had already planned on washing it, anyway. I did notice some loose fibers. I washed it in cool water on a medium spin and Wrinkle Prevent cycle. I tumble dried it on Low temperature with Wrinkle prevent and stopped it about four times to adjust it so all moisture could be dried. I ended up removing lots of lint (photo).I had to figure out where to place the longest end, so I had about 5" to tuck it underneath the mattress. (The fabric tag goes at the bottom right corner of the bed.) I only had about 6 1/2" over-hang on each side. This king blanket arrived 102" X 90". However, after my first wash and dry, it now measures 94" X 89". (See photos.) I know cotton shrinks, but I'm disappointed it shrank a lot.We slept with it last night, and it did feel soft. However, the waffle weave will take some getting used to because it's an unusual texture for us and felt bumpy. It was not hot and heavy like our other blankets, which was a plus. Overall, despite the shrinkage, we can still sleep comfortably.

I have never owned a blanket with the waffle like design before, and it is interesting to first experience. After some weeks of use, I can say that this is my new favorite for certain. Surprisingly comfortable and able to finely sit itself between a weighted blanket and lighter duvet. On warmer days, you can rest on top of this and know you won't wake up drenched. Yet for cooler nights and the like, it can be a solo cover that will keep you warm and snug.

Very lightweight and portable. Easily matches any furniture.

It’s thin and lightweight so it’s great for summer if you need more than just the sheet and great for early fall or late spring. It’s breathable so it shouldn’t be too hot. The pattern reminds me of old school thermal layers so I assume you could layer this blanket between a sheet and another blanket and get some good warmth. It’s a great size and I find myself grabbing it and using it in other rooms too. Simple enough design for guys as well. I haven’t used it a whole lot yet and only washed it once but I found the strands in one of the photos. If that continues I’ll update this. Hopefully it lasts longer than a few washes.

This 100% cotton waffle blanket reminds me of the ones I had when I was a kid. It is lightweight but warm and has a soft, natural feel. The blanket is well made, and I anticipate it lasting a long time.

I live in southwest Florida so I don't need anything super thick and heavy. The blanket has a light/medium weight and is perfect as an additional layer where a sheet is not enough but the comforter is too much. It also adds a nice decorative touch folded up at the foot of the bed. I like that it's breathable and the fabric feels gentle on my skin without being itchy or irritating. Washing it was easy with no tears or loose threads and seems to soften the fabric even more too. I'm very happy with this blanket overall and would order it again.

I've had this blanket on my bed since I got it. It's pattern makes it feel extra thick but in a good way. It washes good, holding its shape and remains soft. I love it.

Always wanted one of these blankets. Washes up nicely and is the perfect warmth for spring and summer. Fits our Cal King perfectly! Great value!!
