I bought the set for succulent gardening. I find myself really utilizing the curved scissor for cleaning and trimming my succulents. The tweezers are great for reaching into agave or cactus that might otherwise poke and cut your skin. I've had these for quite some time and they still look perfect. You definitely have to keep them clean. I haven't had an issue with rusting and Ive used these in my pond as well.

The scissors are tongs are good however the "rake" broke within the 1st few days. Was pretty disappointed with that which is why it lost 2 stars. After vacuuming the gravel, I usually fix all the gravel. Now I have to use my hand again. :( After reading other reviews, once I'm done using the tongs or scissors, I'll make sure to wipe them down with a towel so they don't rust. Wish they were just a bit longer but they do the job.

These are great for the price, they are sturdy and i have used them often for several months and they are still shiny bright silver. They come in handy and do the job and you get the whole set for what one piece would cost elsewhere and i would rather spent the$$ on more fish and plants than tools when these work great.

A useful assortment of tools for my aquariums. Good quality stainless steel. Useful implementssuch as long tweezers to help in planting and maintaining the planted tank. I like these tools andafter sixty years of keeping fish they make things easier. I have five aquariums and all of them a re well planted.I like these tools very much

I use these tools all of the time in my tank! They are nice, but you must rinse and dry them off when you are finished to avoid rust spots on them.

only recently gotten into aquariums and plants these tools seem to be very well made and have used them for a few months now and no rust, they clean up nicely too, I sterilize them after using and the little pouch it came with keeps them all together, these work great for my fish tank needs

Works well to move aquarium decor around. Some of the tools I wish were a bit longer, but that’s only because of the way my tank is set up. Good quality material!

What you see is what you get. I have a 29 gallon planted tank. The tools worked perfectly. The tweezers work great for grabbing small plants and inserting them into the substrate. The clippers are sharp and work well for trimming tall plants. You probably still will get your fingertips wet.
