Natrel 2% Chocolate Milk, 8.0 Ounces (Pack of 18)

I'm a widower living alone. If I buy milk it goes bad before the bottle, carton, whatever is emptied. I like whole milk and this is perfect for me. Shelf life is great. Taste is fine. Convenience is awesome. My only wish is this was available on subscription since I reorder every other month.

This is shelf-stable (non-refrigerated) whole milk. Shelf-stable *whole* milk is quite difficult to find in this area (S.F. Bay Area), so I was happy to find this on Amazon.The package I received said the milk will expire in a bit over a year ... which makes it greatfor earthquake preparedness (and extended power outages).The small size (each is 8 oz) means that when a package is opened, I can essentially treat it as a single-use package,which means (unlike, say, a whole quart box of shelf-stable milk), there's no waste.

My 2 year old son loves his milk. We are often out for long stretches and he dislikes cold milk. Having a couple of these in our diaper bag are the perfect way to have room temp milk available whenever he needs it. I just pop the hole with the straw and squeeze the milk into his sippy cup. He doesn't seem to notice any significant flavor difference from his usual whole milk.

It's whole milk. It doesn't go bad. Makes me wonder why do we not sell fully pasteurized milk in this country. In Europe you buy milk in the supermarket unrefrigerated hyper pasteurized with an expiration date the following year. I know why people still sell " fresh milk" even though it's been partially pasteurized so how fresh is it really. The fact that milk goes bad sells more milk. Just wish I could get these in half gallon containers at my grocery store. Thank you for at least making these small containers.

My kids don't like the taste.Wanted to get lactose free milk for 36 hour international travel. TSA won't allow without puncturing every sealed container and a doctor's note.

This product is a big break through in having a fresh milk delivery, without having to subscribe to the little value, but great cost of Amazon fresh. Subscribers pay enough for Amazon prime, without embellishing Amazon's lily further, by subscribing to Amazon Fresh !!!!. The unfortunate down size is the fact that this product is, what I would describe as much more expensive price wise when compared to fresh milk at local retail markets ! Here is the factual cost comparisons. Locally, 1 quart of fresh milk, local retail, about $2.00. This product purchase on Amazon costs exactly $4.00 per quart which is quite a differential spread. Double the price, equally the same pleasure. Although I purchased full fat milk, my next order which I overlooked will be their skim, lactose free milk which sells for $30.00 ?

I ordered this 18 pack of 8 ounce whole milk boxes as well as a 6 pack of 32 ounce whole milk boxes for a few reasons and I am very happy with the flavor and convenience. I live alone in a rural area and have suffered multiple traumatic spinal injuries, so making myself presentable to get out of the house, driving into town, trekking through the grocery store, loading and unloading my haul and putting everything away has become increasingly difficult for me, so it has been wonderful to have a home delivery of delicious, shelf stable milk ready and waiting for me whenever I want to cook something that requires milk or have a bowl of cereal. I also ordered it for traveling to Los Angeles when my Dad drives us to see our spine surgeon. Dad LOVES his milk and he was able to drink some with his breakfast and eat his cereal that I brought for him even though we had to leave the hotel for the hospital for my latest spine surgery long before the hotel set out their continental breakfast offerings. The small 8 ounce size package is great too as it eliminates the chance of spoilage and food waste when I only need a small amount of milk. If I'd known about this product when my elderly grandmother was still alive, then I'd have stocked her pantry with it since she frequently mixed up dry milk powder for herself and measuring was difficult due to her poor vision. These convenient little boxes of milk come with a little telescoping straw too so I'd imagine that they'd be great in a child's lunchbox in lieu of a juice box or other sugary beverage. It would probably be a good item to have in the pantry even in a larger household so that you have backup and never run out even when someone drinks the last of the regular grocery store milk and doesn't bother to say anything until the next morning when someone else has already poured their bowl of cereal and will be met with disappointment. I've been most pleased with this product and highly recommend it. It'd be wonderful for anyone who struggles to get to a store. I hope that it will be restocked soon.

We don’t regularly use or drink milk. This is perfect to keep in the house for a periodic bowl of cereal or cup of coffee, recipes requiring milk, or for guests who like milk in their coffee or tea. They are also perfect for our many road trips and emergencies. We have a few in our emergency box with our cereal, instant mashed potatoes and our emergency burner and mini propane canisters. Good value for the price.
