Great for back surgery recovery
The grabbers were better than what they used at the nursing home. The sock assistant is just necessary. Great products.

Post surgery help
This type of set was recommended by an occupational therapist while I was in the hospital following spinal surgery. Several of the items have come in really handy. The sock helper is great, but without directions from the OT i wouldn't have known how to use it.My one actual complaint is the back sponge, the sponge won't stay on the handle, pretty much no matter what. Very cheaply made and ineffective.Overall product set is worth the cost, and immensely helpful for short term recovery.

Very handy tools
Every tool in this bundle proved very helpful after my recent hip replacement surgery. I quickly learned to be independent using these tools from getting myself dressed, taking a shower, getting in and out of bed, and simple household chores. I can highly recommend this tool bundle to help you during those first difficult days after surgery.

Quality OK
The only items that I have used more than once is the long handled gripper and the sock assistance item. Could not have handled the compression socks without the sock spreader. Very disappointed with the back scrubber.

Great for post-op or for those with limited range of movement
A family member had heart surgery and a "hip kit" like this was recommended by the occupational therapists (OT's). This particular kit had all the pieces that we wanted and the price was good. The elastic shoe laces allow you to lace your shoes and then just slip into them, with some help with the shoe horn. A metal shoe horn was recommended b by the OT because it won't flex or break. These, along with the grabber, dressing stick, and the sock aid can allow the patient to dress and undress himself with minimal or no assistance. All of the items are of the quality used by OT's during therapy. The only flaw is that there are no directions for use. For patients that have received occupational therapy, this is no problem. However, there are bound to be people with limited range of movement that would benefit from these items, but may not be able to figure out the best use of the dressing stick or sock aid. It takes a little practice to use the sock aid effectively, but can be great for people who can't bend over to reach their feet or can't bring their ankle across the knee to put on socks. I still give this 5 stars, though, because instructions can be found online (including YouTube videos). This kit really helps patients be more independent, and could be helpful for aging family members. We are all-around happy with the purchase and vendor.
