Black Market Parts BM301-171002 - Replacement Aluminum Coolant Flange for BMW N54

Although the description at the time said it wasn't for the N55 engine, I bought it knowing that the OE parts were essentially the same so this should fit. It went right in without an issue (2011 135i). Much better than the OE plastic part that cracks. It's a shame you can't see this one it is installed because it's a good-looking piece.

The oem plastic fitting on my N54 engine essentially crumbled apart over time. I found this high quality aluminum replacement for the same price as a plastic replacement and with prime shipping. Highly recommend it, took only 5 minutes to install. Comes with the fitting, an o ring preinstalled, and a hose clamp. I cut the ring off of the oem hose and attached it to the new fitting with the included hose clamp. Again, highly recommend it if you have a compatible vehicle, this part will never fail like the oem ones do.

Fit perfectly and resolved the issue I had with leaking coolant. You should honestly do this before the original hose flange goes bad, the plastic breaks off into the coolant and destroys your water pump.

If you own an N54, you NEED to do this upgrade. It is only a matter of time before the OEM plastic fitting deteriorates and causes you to leak coolant all over the place. Great and easy item for preventative maintenance. Don't buy the cheap eBay ones, the o-ring is too big and it won't fit correctly.

Perfect fit. After disassembling everything to perform walnut blasting on my intake valves and replacing the oil filter housing gasket, I found a broken oe flange that was crumbling. This high quality BMP flange was a perfect fix at a very reasonable price.

Perfect replacement for the defective part. The factory part is plastic that corrodes and degrades over time. If your factory piece hasn't broke yet, replace with this asap and save yourself a tow and a huge PITA.

Perfect fit, my OEM hose broke and stranded me 400 miles from home. This part is a must for any N54 with more than 90k miles. Way cheaper than the $139 OEM hose.
