Very pleased with result
Having read the reviews before purchase, I couldn't believe there were some poor comments. Either damage was too bad to be redeemed by this product or the users were inept. For a 75 year old with arthritic hands, I found it easy and quick to apply, especially with judicious use of the wife's hairdryer to soften the wax. The hardest part was getting up from a kneeling position! The main difficulty is colour-matching and good lighting is essential, preferably daylight.I had a large gouge out of light beech laminate, which I lived with for years as, replacing the section was a job beyond my skills and a quote from a professional was ridiculous. So I lived with the damage until I decided to sell my house, and a 2p-sized dark gouge was not a good advert to potential buyers.£6.95 and 10 minutes work was all it took to rectify the problem and I'm now looking for any other repair opportunities in the house, as there's loads left over.

good quality for find quality wood cabinets [[use a hair dryer for a better finish ]
i recently purchased a pair of second-hand floor standing speakers and there was a crack on the top of one of the cabinets ..after evosticking the worst of it i finished the slight gap off with this wax ..TIP ..use a hair dryer to obtain a perfect finish make sure that there is nothing that will melt [like a speaker grill] remove anything that may be damaged by heat ..at first i was not impressed but using the hairdryer made a DIY job look like a professional job because the wax melts and fills in any gaps ..this is a perfect solution where you can't use sanding paper this product is for filling slight gaps dont purchase it if you have a big gap to fill ..think of this product as a super fine filler

Well pleased with this.
I have a laminate floor which looks like it is a pale-coloured ceramic tile. It’s about 7 years old and has picked up a few chips over the years. I also have dark grey/black granite-look laminate worktops with some chips out of the corners. I was thinking it might be time to replace and then I spotted this, along with some other colours from the same supplier. So I took the plunge and bought them – being as these are far cheaper than replacing what I have. I did not expect too much given some of the other reviews but I can honestly say I am well pleased with the results. I am an experience DIY-er and a bit of a perfectionist. The product is like a hard wax crayon and you use it as if it is a filler. It takes a bit of practice to blend the colours but once I got the hang of it, I could make almost invisible repairs to both the floor and the worktops. (I had a spare piece of laminate in garage which I damaged and then practiced on). The instructions are right - start light and gradually go darker - but sparingly, as it is difficult to remove. In over half the repairs I did, my partner could not tell where the repair was. The repairs have survived the floor-mop a few times as well, so seem robust. And there's plenty left if I need to do more.

Not bad at all
Used on kitchen worktop and laminate flooring, worked fine, but tricky to apply depending on damage but doable with a bit of patience and persistence. Blends in fine, colours can be mixed. Top tip: put a bit on some glass dish and microwave it. It gets soft and very easy to work with. Hardens quick.

Good job
I was wary about buying this after reading the other negative reviews, but thought that it was cheap enough even if it didn't work. Well I was pleasantly surprised! Did a really nice job of some quite old and discoloured chips in my laminate flooring. Just have to follow the instructions......keep adding, scraping and smoothing and persevere until it looks as good as possible. My husband couldn't tell where the repairs were when I had finished. Floors now look as good as new! Great product as far as I'm concerned. 1 x Laminate Floor Worktop Furniture Repair Kit (L) For Beech, Light Beech, Warm Beech, Honey Beech, Ash, Birch, Light Oak, Maple, Pine, Medium Oak, Light Teak, Natural Teak and similar shades

Great product A+
I had a number of chips (some for a long time) in my maple laminate flooring, after the last mishap (chip) I finally looked for a product to fix it! I gave this a go and I am so pleased with the results you wouldn’t know the chips were ever there, I can’t believe it! It only takes a few mins and patience to get the right colour mix and hey presto!

Really good but not magic
My sofa had screw sticking out that scratched and damaged the floor underneath it quite badly.I bought this in an attempt to secure my bond when I move out.I found it worked brilliantly, I got the same colour as the wood around it and pushed it in hard and smoothed it off.If you didn't how where the damage was it blended in brilliantly. But if you knew where it was or was looking hard enough it was a obvious blob of somthing shiny.Got my bond back though.
