Well made. Very elegant

Seiko is a brand I am very familiar with, beginning with vintage purchases and this watch has nostalgic ties with my past. It meets every expectation I had for it.

After a year, I like: 1) The bezel and the case design and polishing. 2) The dial design. 3) The dial color. 4) The size, suitable for my wrist. 5) Good and Robust movement. I don't like (see photos): 1) Misaligned bezel. 2) Crystal, the Hadlex doesn't bother me, but it has a lot of reflections, specially at night 4) The shape of the crystal, it causes deformations from various angles, although it is typical of box-shaped glass 4) The end links don't fit properly into the watch case. Conclusion: good concept, needs better execution, not worth the oficial price.

Even wearing for a month daily and love it. Reserve keeps me from winding daily. I recommend this watch and happy I purchased it.

Love the look of it. Great value for a super looking gmt. Movement is accurate. Materials are fantastic. Color finish perfect. Lume is a little weak but similar to other watches I’ve had in the past. It’s a dress watch or daily wear not a beater or dive so not a problem.

Seiko 5 "Orange Boy" with an updated 4R36 caliber and raised indexes and logo. Kanji day wheel intended for the Japan market. Yes, these are worth it, especially considering they are priced competitively with the intl srpd models. Not a dive watch nor is it intended to be, but an excellent affordable Japan made Seiko 5.

It looks good. The hardlex though is nowhere near sapphire in terms of being scratch resistant. In the past month I have worn this watch for maybe 8 days and there are little scratches on it.

For the price, a sapphire crystal is to be expected. Hard “no thanks”.
