Bonsaii 15-Sheet Cross Cut Shredder C169-B Split Packaging

I do shredding in irregular bursts, perhaps a few months apart. My 'old' shedder, nominally shredded 11 sheets. The slot was longer than the narrow edge side of A4 and allowed angled entry which led to creasing and serious jamming. Quick to overheat and messy to empty. (Fellowes type still available)When I saw the Bonsaii box I thought the shredder would be smaller the advertised. It is not. Brilliant packaging and instructions to assemble. It is extremely quick to shred, quiet, well built, easy to move on casters, takes 12 sheets A4, not tried more, and I think would prevent too thick paper entry, the slot just takes A4 so no risk of edge folding, bin level easy to see , emptied prior to being full and not a single shred escaped, auto starts and stops with confidence. placed conveniently under a table and moved out for use.Rarely have I been so pleased with a purchase. Time will tell if it is reliable. A two year guarantee should fix that should it fail.

Bought this shredder. The day it arrived it would not work properly as it would not fit together properly. Any way finally after 3 people tried it started working. I only use one a fortnight if that. 2 weeks ago (7 months after buying) it over filled with no warning and now will not work. There is supposed to be a sensor but cannot find and it rattles a lot. The power button will flash on and immediately flashes back off and will not work. Nearly £100 for this as well and now out of warranty. Expensive. Also was supposed to have some oil paper which wasn't in there

Having bought a number of shredders (and worn them out) over the years, we decided it was time to upgrade to something a bit more robust.This one is very quiet in operation, and doesn't sound like it's struggling at all.We like the fact that it has a cooling fan, and when that starts cutting in, we reckon it's time to give it a rest for a bit. We don't want to ruin this one!We also love the pull-out bin for the shreddings. No more removing the shredder head like on our old model and dropping dust and confetti all over the carpet!As other reviewers have commented, it's a good idea to empty the bin once it's half full, or you can start to get an overflow of shreddings falling into the base of the unit and onto the floor.

The media could not be loaded. I ordered this shredder based on the reviews made by other customers, I never thought that I would spend almost hundred pounds on a shredder, but I thought that it was worth it, anyhow I was in desperate need to reduce the paper clutter ( they haven’t reached the ceiling just yet) at home, with the expectation being high (never been excited about shredder) I received the shredder, only to my horror that it’s not working properly, the power light goes on but it switches off immediately, I tried everything suggested in the manual and looked at YouTube, no success, so I just returned, I still have faith in the shredder but whether to order the same or seek alternative one.

Decent product that is able to handle larger volumes that previous purchases. Shreds to small pieces. A little noisy.

Really good shredder and very quiet too but could do with a bigger bin

Absolute rubbish. Bought it with the hope it would be decent given the price, received home and after I plugged it in the light flashed red once and the shredder would not work at all. Turn off and on again and light would not flash anymore and all I could hear was an electrical noise from inside the shredder (does not sound safe at all). The shredder also look used as it has some bit of paper stuck inside. Returned straight away…

This is a brilliant shredder in all ways.The paper shredding couldn't be better, and the CD shredding is just amazing, as is the credit card shredding.It runs for such a ling time, and I've had it running for over an hour without the slightest issue, or stopping from overheating.All in all, just a brilliant shredder for the price.
