I ordered two of these because the old ones were playing up on occasions. I liked that (1) the TV connector was built in as I thought this reduced the chances of a poor connection and (2) the IR receiver was a lot smaller meaning I could attach it to the frame of my lcd TV. Although I opted for standard delivery, one arrived within 48 hours which was really impressive since I live in the 'back of beyond'. I thought it strange that there might be two separate envelopes for such a small item so I emailed the company to ask if I should expect a second envelope. I received a very quick response advising me that a second eye had just been despatched. It also arrived within 48 hours so I am very impressed with the service. The product is installed and working well. The short lead to the tv is great as it means that the box is out of sight behind the tv (cable tied to the frame) and the small receiver is glued neatly onto the frame where it is unobtrusive. A minor niggle, but not enough to affect the score, was that one glue pad did not securing the receiver properly in place but I will get a stronger replacement shortly. A nice touch was a complimentary connector included in the package for the aerial connection which will be of use when I relocate the tv. Overall, impressed with the tv eye and with the service from the supplier.

Complete waste of money... it does not work at all... i set it up as instructed... never ever got the green light come on... this was a direct replacement for an official sky one...

The cable length between the coax plug and the main unit is better than those previously used. Enough length to tuck neatly behind the TV and not strain. The eye is smaller than the standard I've used before but the range with the Sky remote enabled commands from about 22 feet very easily. Only negative is the eye does need to be stuck down as being so small it tends to flip over because of the weight of the wire.

This magic eye was simple to install and improved the picture quality.

Worked for about to seconds then stopped responding to the remote.Borrowed my daughters and it worked so the device is faulty.

Well, they are easy to install, very unobtrusive due to the size of the eye and also work to a certain degree in that they allow you to control the Sky box from a different room. The fly-lead with a right-angled connector is also particularly useful and helps in connecting the units to the TV. Good price too.But sadly they introduce far too much noise (interference) onto what was otherwise a nice clear picture. I ordered 2 eyes, both affected the TV picture in the same way, more or less. I tried both of them on 3 other TVs with exactly the same results.Having used Labgear hardware in the past, albeit computer equipment, I was quite surprised at the poor results I got with these eyes, needless to say but they are being returned.
