It will keep the rain off you and it packs down enough to stuff in a pocket. Has a back vent to help mitigate the body steam. We got stuck in a downpour on a recent ride, and I was impressed by the effectiveness of this relatively cheap rain jacket. I sized up to fit over colder weather wear, and it doubles as a windbreaker in cool weather. I'm a euro L/american M, and I bought an XL. Could have gotten away with a large for summer wear.

Great fit. Breathable so it works well for me also as a 40-50 deg jacket in dry weather. I normally wear extra small in castelli, but got this in small and it fits perfect.
