2" inch PE vinyl cloth reinforced, 9 MIL heavy duty tape. Cuts with scissors or knife, tears by hand. This tape is a wonderful product for a wide variety of applications. Mostly used in toys, hobbies, crafts, scrapbooking, garage, or kitchen. Rugged and durable, but every repair should be considered TEMPORARY, does not replace Vinyl & Fiberglass Pro repair kits! Common sense REQUIRED when considering this product. Please NOTE: Surfaces must be clean, dust free, and dry. While the tape is humidity & water resistant after application (NOT submersible) the adhesive will not stick to moist, oily, dirty, dusty, contaminated surfaces. Use 2-3 wraps and overlap flat layers for a smooth wrinkle free long lasting repair. DOES NOT stick long term on cloth or canvas outdoors, be very realistic in your applications! Always make sure you really press it firmly into place all around and have it warm - to set the pressure sensitive adhesive. The dryer and warmer the installations, the longer the adhesive will hold its position (avoid sliding). Any repair might last 1 or 2 seasons if it does not move. For best results wipe all surfaces with alcohol or acetone and allow to fully evaporate before application. Black Core explained: "Black Core" tape is Made in the USA left over from the worlds largest tape mills who must liquidate Over Runs, Mill Ends, offset, or cosmetically imperfect rolls. Mfg has blacked out the original printing inside their core with rubber based non-toxic ink which is totally safe and does not come off easily. However, wear work gloves or disposables if you plan on handling these rolls for an extended period.
