A great product but with one fatal flaw.The sliding collar that locks the lace in place is almost impossible to press on one side and very hard to press on the other.Much frustration and annoyance trying to get the laces through the slider to fit them but, even now they're in position, pressing the button to loosen the collar to take a shoe off is hard. Really hard.I'm convinced that I'm forcibly sliding the locking collar along the lace rather then undoing them properly because it is so hard to press the button.If your looking at these because they are easier for less dexterous individuals, forget it. You need power tools to undo them!

I really love these laces, previously in races I've had laces come undone and have had to stop and do them up with these no more.To fit you simply strip out the old laces and loop them though, then cut to size. You then feed the 2 ends though a plastic ring and fix the 2 ends with a flat lock bit of plastic. I have tried other variants of elastic laces and I much prefer the end fitting on these as you can undo them, also being flat it tucks back down the laces over the shoe tongue much better.The advantages:-Never come undoneShoes are much quicker to put onYou can swap them over to a new shoe when you get a new pairVery hard wearingDefinitely relives pressure points on your feet when running

I fitted these to my 5:10 Mountain biking shoes, which are excellent all apart from one thing. It always seems crazy to me to have cycling shoes that have long flappy laces. They always get caught on the chain or front cog and collect oil which ends up on your hands. So fitting RaceLace means that you don't have long flappy laces, and as another advantage the shoes are quicker to put on. There are many brands of elastic lace but it does pay to buy quality, as you need a good quality of elastic that is going to stand the test of time. RaceLace's elastic is strong and robust and also has a reflective thread running through it which is great for cycling. I also have elastic laces on my trail shoes (Keen Versatrail) although these are a factory fitted option! If you've not tried them, give it a go.Fitting the laces is pretty easy but before you cut off the excess and fit the end piece to the elastic just check you can get your feet into the shoes easily and you are happy with the amount of elastic that is trailing once the shoes are done up.My one criticism of the the RaceLace is that the cord lock is just a little small. It's quite an effort to push the button - if it were a little bigger, it would be easier. But still worthy of 4 stars.

purposely left the review to see how they faired- great product and saves so much time tying/ untying wet laces or the risk of them coming undone. Have used them in walking boots and there is plenty of stretch in them to be able to just stretch round the 2 pairs eyes and off you go, - the dog is grateful too as don't spend 10 minutes doing up long conventional ones!just one slight blip- the clip-thingy to thread the laces into is too hard for me to squeeze so had to get someone to do for me but it has to be tight, I know

I always wear trainers but I'm too lazy to untie them when I get home. Which means I'm too lazy to untie them to retie them in the morning, resulting in lots of broken down backs. Elastic laces for the win.These are the best elastic laces I've ever bought. They've got got elasticity, they're bright, and the fastener holds incredibly well. My only complaint is that the fastener is a bit too small and a pig to thread the laces through the first time. On the flip side it means it holds fantastically well and I haven't had to adjust them in the last month despite wearing them all day, every day.Will definitely buy more for my next pair of trainers.

These are just amazing. My disabled daughter does not have fine most skills so shoes with laces are a no go but shoes with velcro for a young lady of 17 are not always that fashionable..... these are awesome and she finds them really easy to use. They are so awesome that her eder sister who is perfectly able bodied has some as well as they look so good......

Great product. Unfortunately, to stiff for using in my daughter's trainers as she can't move the mechanism to tighten the laces (aged 5.5), however for an adult these would be perfect. First of all, grab yourself a pair of pliers - this will make threading the laces through the locking mechanism much easier because, before I reached for the toolbox, I was close to giving up on fitting these. The design flaw is that both laces pass through the same hole, which is too small to accommodate them both (this also makes trying to press the release button pretty much an impossible task). I have another pair of these laces from a different manufacturer and their locking mechanism has two holes which makes use a LOT more comfortable.Once fitted however, these work perfectly fine. Just don't expect to be able to remove them and put on another pair of shoes without the odd tantrum and outbursts of foul language.

Fanno il loro lavoro nel senso che non obbligano ad allacciare le scarpe con un nodo...i lacci sono elastici ben fatti il meccanismo è tedioso al montaggio che la metà basta! Veramente non facile il montaggio e poi per stringere si fa molta fatica il gancetto su cui fare pressione sarebbe dovuto essere più ergonomico invece fa malissimo alle dita. Non saprei dirvi quanto tempo si risparmia alla fine considerando quanto poco pratico è il meccanismo di blocco. Ho apprezzato molto la tensione dei lacci elastici che già da soli danno un gran bel grip al piede. Consigliati si ma non per uso sportivo causa poca ergonomia credo si spenda più tempo a schiacciare il ferma laccia che a fare un nodo. Con le mani sudate poi credo risulti impossibile,.

La pieza redonda con el muelle, por donde tienen que entrar los cordones, está durísima, solo he conseguido introducir ambos cordones en una de ellas. En la otra imposible. No lo he devuelto porque ya los había cortado a medida de mis zapatillas y claro, no estaban tal cual los había comprado. Acabo de ver una opinión donde a otra persona le ha pasado lo mismo que a mi. Lástima que no la leí antes para haberme ahorrado la compra y haber elegido otra opción.

Hatte am Anfang meine Zweifel, welche sich nicht bestätigt haben. Hatte auch mal Trekking Schuhe, die hatten dieses System standardmässig. Ich denke mir immer, durch die Reibung könnten sich die Schnürsenkel durchwetzen. Ist aber noch nie passiert... und ausserdem habe ich ja mit diesem Kauf noch zwei Paar Schnürsenkel in Reserve. Auch der Halt ist ausgezeichnet, war ebenfalls einer meiner Bedenken!

Pues eso, son funcionales, seguros y con un largo más que suficiente. Normalmente tendrás que cortarlos porque vienen muy largos, como para botas.

ottimi lacci unica pecca è che non sono troppo flessibili cioè se vengono tirati un pò troppo sei coumnque costretto ad una regolazione perfetta altrimenti stringono e fanno male e se troppo lenti .....
