Q: What temperature should the gun be set to?

I run this glue in a 220 watt Surebonder PRO2-220 glue gun set at the maximum temperature of 420° F. When the gun sets for a while and allowed to get hot, the glue comes out fairly thin and almost too hot. When putting down a lage quantity of glue all at one time the glue tends to come out a bit thick since the heating chamber is not able to keep up with the demand for hot glue. If the job just needs a small amount of glue and it can be a bit thick, then the gun can be set to 380° F and still work.

Q: What about rebonding metal to garage door dense foam board? Looks like they might have used a poly adhesive before.

Although this is a good industrial product, it is pretty stiff and has a high melting point. Suspect the foam may melt where it is touched by this stuff—a normal craft style hot melt adhesive may be a better choice. If the foam survives the high temp, it will absolutely stick to your door.

Q: Can these stick rubber/plastic to graphite?

I don't know if this helps, but I tried this on 18650 cells with pvc sleeves. The glue barely sticks, once it cools. This stuff says it is "flexible", but it is harder and kinda brittle compared to the cheap sticks. Summary: It failed.
