I had hoped for more, it does come on steady occasionally, but not every time i apply the brakes. Not real bright but bright enough to be noticed. I couldn't get it into the automatic mode where it would turn on and off automatically either.The rubber mounting strap is fine if your attaching it to a seat post but I have a recumbent and the tubing is much thinner so it wasn't much use.It was inexpensive and that's all that I can say about it.

Bought this in August, it lasted 2 months before the clips on the back broke off. Battery life seemed ok to me, it worked as intended but longevity is a fail.

I have a few tail lights for my bikes. I often use more than one to improve visibility at night. This light is nice and small but is not as bright as my other lights. It has several modes to control brightness and flashing etc. Some of the modes are cool to watch but I am not sure how much that improves safety. Like other lights you cycle through the modes with a button.The picture shows this light on the right and one of my other lights on the left. Both lights are fully charged and on their brightest setting. You can see that this light is not as bright as the other one. Brighter is better for me.Mounting is via a rubber strap that stretches and can fit around different sized bike frames, seat posts etc. It is as easy to remove as it is to mount.I have not tested for battery life but I always charge my lights after a few uses so I am not worried about battery life.I probaby wouldn't use this as my sole tail light but is a nice addition to use with other lights.I also have purchased some other Rockbros items and overall have been satisfied with their products.

This light falls a bit short with its "smart" features but as a tail light I like it. What I really like is the matte color to the light, I find it just different enough that it catches the eye. There are enough modes to satisfy one's strobe/steady/blinking wants. It is not the brightest light, it doesn't light up the area behind your bike but it is definitely bright enough that cars or other bikes will see you far enough away. I've been using this light for a couple months and the battery life has been great, plus it charges via USB-C. It's a really good light at a good price.
