Super loud!
It was simple to install, which is great. It'll get the job done when we go on vacation, also great. We had planned to leave it on the roof all the time, which we wound up not doing because the wind moving through the bars was so loud! We couldn't figure out what it was at first but finally realized it was the rooftop racks causing the wind noise. We took the racks off and the noise stopped. We will put them on when we need them and take them back off when we don't. It's more of a pain than we had planned for but not too bad. Judging by the noise we were hearing, I'm sure the wind resistance was affecting the gas mileage.
