Wow I’m impressed with this, my hair is fine, thin, and straight, resits curl and difficult to style, which never stays in beyond a couple of hours even when done by hairdresser, I normally use a hot curling iron which drys out the ends and causes damage, so try not to use it to often. First attempt with this which is a completely different technique, but I got a good first result, wave and body, my hair looks great. I love the low temperature too, as most irons are just way to hot. Was easier to use than other irons, not heavy and cool sides so you don’t get burnt fingers or neck. Great little product, great value too at 40% off. Recommend.

I'm so glad I chose this straightener. I've always found a straightener the best tool for creating beach waves, and this one works brilliantly. I like the range of temperatures and the option to have the air flow on or off. Having cool air at the same time as heat makes it comfortable to use with less risk of burns. It's quite literally, a breeze to use. Hair pulls through smoothly with no snagging. I highly recommend.

I think this is pretty good, but I have two niggles:1. I’m not sure I’m convinced by the heat-protection claims. Aubé I’m being too tough, but my hair felt pretty hot post-curling, and it didn’t seem that different to me as when I’ve used other curling irons.2. There is a definite technique. Mine did not see, to come with instructions. So I’m not sure if the instructions explain the technique to you. Luckily, I worked it out myself - otherwise I would have concluded that these curling tongs were not very good. Because the heat is only applied to the bit of hair that is clamped, you need to start clamping close to the scalp rather than close to the ends of the hair (I’ve always clamped the hair at the ends when I’ve used other tongs, and had good results). Once clamped Onear the scalp), you continuously twist the tongs while sliding the tongs down the length of the segment of hair. Tthe end result is very nice, but it was just a stroke of luck that I worked it out - not sure if this is standard technique and I’m out of date, or if others woukd find it similarly non-obvious.Pluses:- once you work out the technique, it works well- I like having the option of temperature control- the plates are smooth, and (at least if you have fairly straight medium- coarseness hair like mine) your hairs slides nicely through it- nice to have combined straighteners ans curlers.

Does not grip hair well

I'm not used too using straighteners or curling tongs, I've always found them too heavy to hold and too hotWell not now, these ones are brilliant not heavy easy too use and can set the right temperature. The cool air that blows means ure hair doesn't burn or get too hot, it also helps set the style. Great for straight or curly styles,,there worth every penny, my daughter tried mine,(she uses irons every day) She couldn't believe how good there were, I treated her too an early birthday gift and she's over the moon with them.i read lots of reviews before I got these and I can say if your thinking about these ones,,, you won't be sorry .

I have used twice but never really had good results, it doesn't seem to heat up enough or hold a curl, my hair smelt burnt after use so I had to wash it again , I will be returning this

Very compact, lightweight, and simple to use. Highly recommend for novice user. Excellent for anyone with difficulty managing hairstylers, not heavy or cumbersome like most brands. Great cooling feature and doesnt singe your hair as it has multiple heat settings. Quality packaging and comes with great little heat resistant pad to rest it on sp you don't burn your furniture. Also, great for travelling. Before you send your money on GHD or Dyson consider getting one of these!

I have bought a few different curling gadgets, but found this one much easier, I have fine hair in a bob, long enough to be able to tie up, at first I did not use curler right, but just takes practice and patience, the curl does smooth and shine hair, which has some colour in it, I used a hair protector spray whilst hair was damp, not sure if that should be put onto dry hair before curling tbh. The curls were soft, gave more body to my hair too, not easy to curl back yet, but I hope to keep trying, if not will just do sides. The tongs heat up very quick too, not understanding the cooling part yet, but so far happy customer, thank you
