Very Nice / Sturdy Leash!
Ok... I confess... I like "tactical" stuff and this leash is no exception. It's different from any other leash I've owned in the past.I have a 1 year old untrained, 70 lb, stubborn as a hound "puppy" that I struggle to walk. This leash is perfect for her. I love the heavy duty frog clip that attaches to her harness - I know it's not going to come undone until I undo it! There's a nice short leash handle that gives me better control of her when I need to. The regular handle is padded and there's a with a "bungee" type of material that will stretch when she pulls during our walk. This stretching makes it easier on me to reign her in since she's not jerking me all over the place when she decides she needs to chase something she's seen. The extras they designed with this leash includes a "D" ring where you can hook a poop bag container or whatever you'd like using a carabiner. They also built in an attachment that you can insert to a seat belt to secure your dog while traveling. Once inserted into the seat belt buckle, it is not adjustable (which I think would have made it better) but it still serves the purpose. Once my pup realizes she's been secured to the seat she settles down for the ride.As I said, I really like this leash. It looks and feels sturdy (and tactical) and it performs well. I recommend it to anyone with a medium to large sized dog and is in the market for a different type of leash!

Okay for some dogs
I was really hoping to have found the perfect leash for my high energy border collie/heeler mix. Unless she is already tired out from exercise her leash skills leave something to be desired. This leash has a bungee like stretchy part which had me thinking it would let her pull outward when she just has to sniff something without jerking my arm. Well, it does let her pull outward, but then she just keeps pulling and I am pulled along as well just like before. Then she stops suddenly and comes back my way with that bungee thing allowing a sudden leash retraction. Boing!I am sure if I had a drone following us and videoing I could get some viral views of the human turned into a puppet action. Comical to the viewer, not so fun for the human involved. The dog remains oblivious as always.I do very much like the frog clip as I feel it offers great attachment to her harness. I have other dogs and eventually I hope this maniac in furry pants will become a more refined walker, so this leash will still get plenty of use.

For slight pullers
We are loving this leash. For a leash, this one really has a lot of bells and whistles. Stuff I didn't have on a leash before, but I won't go back to a plain leash again. For starters, the handle is SO comfortable. There's a lining on the inside of the handle that is a different material than the rest of the leash, so no more "leash burn" if you've got a puller.Farther down on the leash is a grippy, rubbery area that you grab if you need your dog to walk alongside of you. We like this much better than doing the old, "wrap the leash around your wrist a bunch of times".This leash also has a seatbelt attached to it! However, the belt clip is NOT adjustable. It's not meant to keep your dog from getting tossed around in a crash or to keep them still while you drive; it is STRICTLY to keep your dog from jumping out of the car without permission. There is also a ring on the leash, where you can attach stuff you don't feel like carrying. Poop bag dispenser, keys, whatever. Unfortunately, my dog is a nervous boy, and it scared him to look back at us and see the little poop bag dispenser "above" him, hanging off the leash. So we don't use it anymore, but it's there for the dogs who don't mind it.Now for the most important part, the no-pull bungee. Straight up, this is not going to stop your dog from pulling. What it DID do, at least for my dog, is make him realize he'd pulled away from us. He'd be walking nicely with us, and once he pulled too far ahead, he'd pause and the leash would kind of gently bungee him back toward us. However, if you've got a strong, constant puller, this will not stop them. When my dog sees other dogs approaching, he gets so excited that he completely ignored the bungee action and just tried to drag me as usual. We just adopted this dog, and at 6 years old, he came with firmly established bad leash manners already. While this leash helps a little bit, we still have to train him the old-fashioned way.Even though the bungee doesn't make a huge difference, I still love and recommend this leash. There are so many added features, and it is so comfortable to use that it is worth every penny.

Great Swiss Army Leash
Pros: I have a 35ish pound 12 year old spaniel who moderately pulls but likes to investigate everything on a walk. Retractable and standard 6' leashes tend to make him go into coughing fits if he or I put too much tension on it. This leach provides a nice about of gradual resistance so the dog knows when to stop pulling and doesn't choke himself out.The seat belt clip is genius and I wish they had these 20 years ago. Our dog never really bolted out of a car uncontrollably but it does give others peace of mind when the dog is traveling, e.g., when he rides along to carpool pickup and when the teacher is putting the kid in the car, they can see that the dog is restrained or when others take our dog in a car someplace to walk him, they feel better that he is restrained. I don't see this being an actual safety restraint in an accident but it's a nice, easy, inexpensive tool that's nice to have on a leash. The traffic handle is a nice thought too as it prevents holding the leash uncomfortable tight when holding the dog close. The frog clip is a neat option. It does make connecting to the collar's D ring easier when the dog is excited and can't sit still waiting to go for a walk.Cons: The frog clip got sticky with dog hair oil so it requires a bit of isopropyl alcohol and WD-40 to keep it 100%.The elastic has lost about 10-20% of it's stretchiness over about 2 months of use. Not a huge deal but noticeable.Someone not familiar with the leash may try and connect the frog clip to the D ring to create a makeshift leash.
