I've never purchased, or even sipped from a high-end crystal glass such as this. It elevates the pleasure of a fine single-malt whiskey to a whole new level. This is the glass for the discriminating connoisseur, who enjoys the finer things in life, both in the spirits he drinks, and the vessel that contains it.Though the 1 1/4 lb. weight is highly impressive, it's definitely designed with a man in mind. I'm female and find it too weighty to lift comfortably. But I know my man will find extreme pleasure in this amazing piece. It's for those who say they have simple taste; nothing but the best.It is beautifully presented in a manner befitting such quality. The presentation box has an appealing magnetic closure, and inside there is dense foam, cut-to-fit the glass tightly, but the top of the foam has a thin velvet, in a peculiar shade of orange. Black would have been far more appropriate.Upon inspection in daylight, I thought I found a minuscule flaw: at the cut crystal base, there appeared to be a tiny bubble in the crystal, the size of a pin prick. Also, the glass seemed to be cloudy, so I hand washed it in warm, soapy water. It came out gleaming! And I could no longer find that bubble. Sparkling crystal! Twinkling under the kitchen lights, it looks stunning.

When this single glass arrived the first thing I noticed was the hefty weight of the package. That gave me a clue that this was going to be one special drinking glass. It was placed inside a beautiful gift box and when the box was opened the glass is presented like a showpiece, and you’re instantly going to be asking yourself why you didn’t order two?!? You’re going to want a special friend to enjoy this heavy crystal beauty while you’re both sitting out on the deck or patio watching an amazing sunset. You don’t have to sip an 18 year old scotch, or even a barrel proof whiskey…how about sipping some Anejo or Patron? Just hold the salt…

The Bronze age ushered in the era of goblets. This glass does the same for high society in the 2020's. Seriously. A heavy, gorgeous glass goblet (minus the stem). I would buy this as a client gift for Christmas… they would not forget it – exec assistants please take note. I say this because the box is like opening an Apple product. The glass has a nice heavy base… with beautiful clarity. I told my lovely wife to only serve drinks in this glass to me 😊. Buy this. This is money.

This is my first higher quality whiskey glass, so I am no expert.The first thing you notice about this glass is the weight. It is heavy, with a slight balance toward the bottom of the glass. The cut of the glass and the light refractions look very nice without being gaudy. Overall, a very sturdy, and good looking glass. I will definitely be using it for drinks.There were some imperfections, however. There were a few flaws inside the glass, near the top of the rim, but you wouldn’t notice without close inspection. The one thing you do notice, though, is a bubble in the base of the glass. It is a little over 2mm in diameter, and this is the only reason for not giving it five stars. It just feels like, for a fifty dollar glass, any imperfections shouldn’t be able to be seen without close inspection. Or maybe I am just being a snob, I don’t know, I am no expert.

Like a quality wine glass, this crystal high ball glass will improve the enjoyment of your favorite whiskey, scotch or bourbon. Personally, I enjoy a blended Canadian whiskey in my glass and this crystal masterpiece and yes, it has improved my experience in mysterious ways. Just like when I upgraded my wine glasses to the proper shape, this Crystal High Ball glass has impressed me by teaching me what my whiskey should taste like. If you want to enjoy your preferred adult beverage like you were sitting in a Manhattan speakeasy, BUY these glasses!

I do love crystal and this glass is beautiful! Cut crystal deserves to be this high of quality. I'd rather have one fantastic piece of crystal than ten less quality. I plan to surprise my son by serving him a crafted bourbon from his wish list in this glass for Christmas! It also comes in a pretty box - and would be able to be wrapped directly from the box. It holds a large ice cube, two shots of bourbon and a swizzle stick easily! I love the sound of ice in cut crystal.
