Arrived in perfect condition and doing well
Put it in our small pond and it's been 4 weeks since we got it and its very healthy. We did weigh the roots down with a stone and some string so they didn't float

Poor root system, didn’t survive.
The plant came well packaged but I was surprised how small it was considering the price the company charge, I think they were very mean. There was just one small specimen, with a tiny amount of root. Needless to say it didn’t survive. I put it in the pond straight away but it failed miserably to take off. I won’t be ordering any more plants over the internet. Waste of money.

Dead after just over a week
This looked ok not wonderful though, when it arrived its been in my pond maybe nearly two weeks, and today I wondered what the dead leaves were floating on my pond, I fetched it out and it was a soggy brown dead lettuce, nothing like the picture and not what you would expect for £7.50, and after such a short time, I have contacted the seller see what they have to say

Expensive and poor quality
I’ve had a wonderful supplier of water lettuce for about 10 years but sadly World of Water has closed down in my area. I ordered this as it was only Prime seller. Ten pounds for a plant that is always around £5-6 is a gamble, but you only live once. Plant arrived next day in good protective packaging but visibly, the roots were black and the edges of the leaves were frayed and papery. I tried to return but the seller asks for Royal Mail return making the entire cost of this misadventure £13.79. I sent the seller a message and photos and they responded with ‘the plant looks how it is expected to’. Maybe they should change the product description in that case to ‘dead and useless’ Cheers Jan.
