Yes, these are extremely expensive on a per use basis - every necklace or bracelet you make, even if it's a single strand, will basically cost you two or three dollars. But I have a heck of a time getting normal crimps to "take"... they either break or don't tighten enough. So whatever I'm doing wrong, these fix it for me and as long as they match the look they work for me. It looks like a lot of people have had trouble with them not cinching. I have not yet gotten a dud, but I've only used one package of silver and one package of gold so far, so we'll see if my luck holds. A cheaper solution that has worked for me better than crimp beads are those fold over ones that you put over a tied off seed bead. So I can recommend those as well, but these are just so nice and easy to use.

These are amazing. It makes crimping so easy, one step and holds beautifully. My only thing is that I've had a few where there was a gold bead mixed in with the silver. Or the silver wasn't super white/silver - a little gold faded in it. But the simplicity and ease outweighs that for me and it gives a better look than crimps that go flat.

u are supposed to push in the pin so it acts as a stop guard for your strings on jewelry not one of them pushed inDo not buy this product u might as well throw your money out the window

These are very good but I was disappointed when 2 out of eight in the pack failed to work. They are quite expensive compared to the ordinary crimp beads so can't really afford for this to happen too much. When they work absolutely great. They also take a while to arrive. I will buy again for the simple ease of using them. I found the expensive Bead Buddy Tool a bit difficult too and not always worked either and found the crimploks which are a lot easier with using the flat nosed pliars. I look forward to a lot more jewellery making.
