I was a bit hesitant to order this, but the price was right so I decided to give it a try. First off, don't let the shape deter you. This is narrower than you might think from the photos. It's really only big enough to do the task without discomfort.FIrst off, this is designed to fit on a 1/2" hose like you find with most handheld shower heads. If you have a fixed shower head, it's probably not the right size. Mine is the kind where there's a main shower head, a diverter valve, and a hose with a handheld shower head. This worked out perfectly. I unscrewed the handheld part and attached this instead. If you don't have a hose, or it isn't long enough for reach, then you'll want to go to the plumbing aisle and take care of that first. The device does not come with any adapters or hoses. The plumbing fitting is plastic, and the remainder of the product is a comfortable rubber-like surface, presumably silicone.Usage is straightforward. Empty your bowels first, assuming you're using this for that purpose. You'll want to get the desired temperature and pressure before inserting. I found that some shampoo or body wash was sufficient for lubrication. If you do not have a pressure control on your shower head diverter, then you will need to be extra careful. You want low flow for this task. Be prepared for results. Don't overdo it, especially on the first rinse, as you will most likely free up more solid waste.Once you are done with your cleaning, then it's a simple matter to clean the device. There is only one outlet hole, and it's at the tip. This is capable of some dangerously high pressure, so use it responsibly. Honestly, it does a very good job of cleaning up soap scum on the tub, so bonus there.So I bought this out of curiosity, but it turns out to be useful and well designed.

This is short and overall very small, only 1/2" in diameter, not 1" (2.5 cm) as advertised. If its silicone at all its very poor quality, somewhat rough surface. Not really useful. Its going to be returned.

Not sure why the negative reviews. It looks exactly as described . Easy to attach ns a great product. Def did require some lube. Overall enjoyable.

The connection leaked I tried using 2 washers to no avail. I believe it has to be in the manufacturing as there are no leaks with my shower wand.

With any toy/product I do a review for, I complete a few tests to at least determine if the materials are body safe.Smell Check: PassNo harsh smells. It did have a little bit of a smell directly after opening. A quick wash and the smell was gone. Please wash all items prior to use.Lick Test: PassNo Numbing or burning sensation. Touching a bit to the tongue and I was not able to taste any chemicals and didn't have any numbing, tingling or burning.Burn Test: PassWhite Ash, no melting ooze, able to extinguish. I snipped off a small amount from the base and completed the burn test. It caught and mostly glowed rather than producing a flame. Blowing on the glowing ember did produce a tiny flame that was extinguished easily with slightly more blowing. The burn test produced white ash which is indicative of silicone.After completing the tests it does seem that likely is actually made of silicone but these tests are not completely definitive. While Failing a test typically does indicate a material is Not body safe, passing does not guarantee material Is body safe.Unfortunately, due to the flared base being so flimsy, I can only give 4 stars.Caution should be exercised when using this product.

Okay, so I was nervous that this was not going to fit my shower head hose but it was a perfect fit so I was able to use it as intended! I am so happy that I ordered it, it makes washing up so much easier and quicker! It also matched my shower hose perfectly! The size is perfect, it's small enough to slip in and not be uncomfortable. The length is also a good size, I don't insert it all but it's good should you want the length. I totally recommend this product!

I don't know what the material is that this is made from but it's not silicone. It doesn't lube up at all and wants to stick in place.
