I bought these as I thought I needed a gimmick to kickstart myself back into doing some exercise, and surprisingly it worked! I was a little concerned about running without cushioned running shoes, especially as I have fairly flat feet and have always seemed to twist my ankles easily.I am about to complete a couch to 5k training program (with the zombies run app, also highly recommended!), and I think that helped me avoid the issues I was worried about with these shoes, as the training program slowly increases allowing your running style and muscles to develop to a barefoot running style without pushing it too quickly resulting in injuries.I felt a little ankle tenderness in the second week or so of running, and ordered ankle supports as a precaution, but the twinges had gone before they arrived (through amazon prime!) and actually now that I am running 5km in them 3 times a week I can say that my ankles have never felt stronger. I feel like slowly training in these shoes has actually strengthened the joints rather than wearing shoes with ankle support that do nothing to actually improve the situation. (Disclaimer: I am not a doctor, these are just my personal feelings about running in these shoes!).These are definitely not for everyone but personally I love them. Worth a try, see what you think, but I think they key is to introduce them slowly and not overdo it!

Most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. True barefoot feel. Ordered usual size; fine with no socks, but could be tight on the big toe with socks (I’ll find out when my toe socks arrive). Expect strange looks and people asking what they are but also extreme comfort. My usual knee pain from “normal shoes” has gone due to a more natural walking gait.

As others have said, the sizes are wrong. The EU size is close but the UK and US sizes given are nonsense. I'm a UK 6.5, who usually wears size 7s for everyday use, (size 7 is EU 41). On the box, it says EU 41 UK 8-8.5, which is nonsense. For me, the EU 41 Vibrams are a snug fit, and I think that's how they're supposed to feel, but my toes feel very jammed in. A 42 might be more comfortable. I'd go by the EU size and go up a bit for the best chance of them fitting.I quite like them. I used them for Taichi last night. The grip wasn't great on the smooth floor, but other than that they were great. The one thing I hate is that stupid elasticated lace system with the lump of plastic flapping about at the end. It means I can't use these for padwork (ever tried a roundkick with a lump of plastic on top of your foot?) Silly design. I may need to try proper laces if I can find any thin enough.EDit - I'm not sure that I'd want to run far in these. The toes are fairly snug and after having them on for nearly two hours this week, doing taichi and then kungfu, my feet started to swell and the toes became VERY uncomfortable at that point. I wouldn't like that if I was doing a long run. I hope they'll stretch a bit over time.

I’ve only worn these shoes inside twice a week for a hour for eight weeks and they are coming apart already

Only run a few miles in these so far but liking them. According to Vibram's size chart, they reckoned I should be in a size EU38 (UK5). As I'm normally roughly a UK7 (my trainers are mostly EU40-41.5) I thought this was a little small, even accounting for the fact they're a different shape to regular shoes and fit snugly. Seeing the other reviews that said the sizes run small I took a punt and got size EU41 and they fit fine! Can't imagine I'd even get them on if they were any smaller.

Couldn't get my toes in, seams too bulky.

These shoes fit perfectly, and are literally the most comfortable shoes I've worn. Delivery was also really fast. I would recommend that if you have a half shoe size, to round it up to the next size, just to be safe. I cannot wait to expand my collection soon.

Too small.. we cant use them

I like these shoes and think they're good replacements for any other toe separators that I've purchased in the past.Make sure you size up when ordering, and even doing so, you would have to struggle a bit when you want to waer them, but it gets easier when you get used to them. I hope they actually help my arch pains. I wear them as indoor shoes.

Le prix est élevé et c'est dommage, mais la chaussure est solide et très confortable. Contrairement aux idées reçues il n'est pas difficile de l'enfiler. Je fait du 40, et j'ai pris du 41 par précaution, et je pense que j'ai bien fait.

Their sizing. I ordered my size which is euro 38 and it was way too small. Then I ordered bigger size euro 39/40 and then they send me a size 36. They sizing does not match at all online. They say, size 39/40 and UK size says 3, how on earth can a 39/40 euro be a UK size 3. They need to sort their sizings. Its very disappointing and don't think they really care.

This is the second pair of shoes I buy - first pair was for my son.I always have pain in my toes after wearing sneakers and conventional shoes as well as some knee pain - the last few years I’ve mostly worn Birkenstocks and have been looking at zero drop shoes like Altra.Only issue I have with Birkenstocks is how dry my heels get.I bought socks to wear with these and although it’s a little tricky getting all my toes into the shoes, the socks make it more comfortable. These are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn - which really surprises me considering the fact there is no cushioning.I don’t care how crazy I look I’m these shoes - I’m wearing them everyday! Will also buy another pair soon.
