LOVE this coffee maker -- it is easy to use, compact, and makes better coffee than a previous much more expensive one -and the silver is a stylishly fit with my stainless appliances A critical reason I chose this maker is that the hot plate stays on for 2 full hours -- double what most coffee makers will do. I also like the compact size-- it's several inches in all directions smaller than similar ones I compared. Other reviews indicate it's slow, but it doesn't take any longer than my 5 cup pot (brewed both on medium), and I like that I can set the brew strength. Unlike some folks, I also found it easy to pour water into the reservoir and coffee into my cup. Great value for the cost, ability to adjust brew strength , and programmability. I used a paper filter instead of the permanent one -- #4 worked great and only brew only 5 cups most days -- tastes great either way.

I really like this coffee maker. Appearance is very nice, easy to clean. And with other coffee makers where the burner usually is with other, that area chips away eventually due to the daily heating. With this being the caraf that continues the heating, takes that problem away. We haven't had this long, and so far love it. Things I've noticed -This is actually a 12 cup, not a 14 cup but I'm ok with that. Only other issue we're trying to figure out, first time using it, it shut off multiple times and we'd have to restart it. That has happened only once more since then as we're using it daily for a month now. We read thru instructions but cannot find what would cause that. If you know please comment

Heavy duty coffee makerWith good price. Has survived daily use over the last years without issue. I hate glass and this stainless steel is easy to wash and soak for cleanings. My only small issue comesFrom everyone who pours the coffee.. you need to push the Tab open for coffee to flow... conversely the coffee is hot longer without hearing element working

This is a nice small pot. I am usually the only one drinking coffee so the size is great. It comes with its own reusable filter but I like to use a #2 cone shape filter instead. It brews what I consider a very good cup. It takes up little room and looks nice on the counter. The pot does not have an auto off. That would be nice for safety sake.

I recently decided to try a new 5 cup coffee brewer. I had been using a Cuisinart which I liked, but I wanted to try out a different machine. I started with the newer version of the Cuisinart. I was using (5 cup).I liked it well enough, but I didn’t love the form factor. So I tried out this Krups coffee maker.I much prefer it!It’s a much smaller footprint. It’s very simple and ergonomically, It just works as it should. I like the fact the carafe is glass so you can see how much coffee is left. I like the feel of the carafe handle more than the Cuisinart. The handle is bigger and more comfortable. I like the construction of the coffee holder basket. It’s clean and well-made. I like the water level indicator on the right side and the power button which very clearly indicates when it is on or off. It brews very quickly And does an excellent job. Another plus of this unit is that the heating tray is a little bit hotter than the one I was using previously. And it keeps the remaining coffee at a perfect temperature.So now I am a huge fan of Krups. So much so that I decided to get their new GX450 coffee grinder. I’m loving that too. It works really well and it is super cool looking. 😊So all in all, I highly recommend this crops 5 cup coffee maker it’s perfect! 👍🏻

Sleek and stylish. Had all the bells and whistles I wanted in a coffee maker. Coffee tasted fine, no complaints about quality of the brew or the time it took to make a full pot. The pot, though, was slightly smaller than I anticipated. Not all "12 cups" are measured the same, and this is a bit egregious.The touchbuttons on the front - not always easy to depress. Had to press a bit harder than I wanted, but then sometimes it would recognize accidental light touches. And the programming was a bit challenging to remember what button does what (labeling isn't the greatest).The brew basket was easy to overfill with water, so the design allows it to short circuit itself out of operation. But it died after 1 week, so returned it. Too bad, I like the Krups brand but had to move on.

Not too big so it doesn’t eat up counter space. Nice design makes a good cup of coffee. The filter is pretty basic though. Likely will buy an upgraded one. Overall pretty solid.

I like the simplicity of this coffee maker. Only one button to start the process and it has a very clean look. Relatively quiet and works well. Coffee is delivered hot and the price is good.The only problem is that the hot plate keeps the coffee temperature too hot and quickly burns the coffee. Not a problem unless you let your coffee sit too long.
