The Anatomy Colouring and Workbook

So, this was purchased as a gift for a soon to be university medical science student. While I'm no medical expert, the content appear to be excellent.When I saw the price, I was concerned, but the workbook actions that accompany the colouring seem very worthwhile in regards to learning outcomes.Will update with her opinion after Xmas!

This book was recommended to me by the author prior to starting my degree. I purchased it a whole year before starting my course just to have a look at what i would be facing.This book has been a god send throughout my first year and i absolutely love it ! Self-directed study is difficult to get your head around after years of school education where everything you need to learn is dictated to you in a classroom, so its easy to get bogged down in too much anatomy. This is where this book comes in sooo handy. It covers all the important bits in a way that is really easy to understand. The self-test quizes aren't tedious, the mneumonics make remembering difficult things easier and the pictures that can be drawn on are a welcome relief to the text and complicated diagrams in so many reading list anatomy text books.I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone and am planning on buying another one this summer so i can complete it again and refresh my learning over the summer holidays :)

So far so good, only negatives I have a the moment is some of the answers are the next line below the question so without knowing it you can have already read them and some of the pictures your are asked to label require your tiniest besets handwriting skills. Also, aimed at the teenagers out there wanting to become a physio but if it does its job I can live with a bit of patronising.

This book is really easy to use and navigate, shows all the information you need broken down into easy chunks.

What can I say!, this book is amazing!, I'm going to start my physiotherapy course in September, and found this book it a must! The topics are of a high level, but the way it is written and with jokes makes the topics so easy to digest and make notes from , I would defines try say anyone going to learn an anatomy course this book is a must buy I couldn't suggest this more !!:)

Fab book. Stuart Porter is one of the tutors on the course I am completing. His methods are great - simplifying info so it is easy to understand and learn. Certainly recommended for any 1st year physio students!

Just what was needed to help the learning of anatomy.

Really excellent book. I bought this as I started my masters in sports medicine to brush up on my anatomy. Great book, easy to interpret and good value for money.
