Don't waste time and money on cheaper motors.
I looked at the numerous motors available on Amazon. After reading most of the reviews, I opted for the OEM Motorcraft blower motor. This is not an easy install. It's doable if you have the proper tools, but you need to be a contortionist to access it. Most of the cheaper motors came with unbalanced blades, failed within weeks of install, were loud and noisy, or didn't deliver the proper CFM.The difference in price is approximately $100. So I understand people trying to save a couple of bucks. But if you have to go through several motors and the hassle of uninstalling and reinstalling, how much did those cheaper motors really save you?My blower motor died on one of the coldest days of the year. As this is a commercial vehicle, I needed it back on the road ASAP, and didn't have the luxury of trying several cheaper motors to try and save a few bucks. It would've cost me much more in downtime than $100 I would've saved. The new OEM is actually quieter than the one that came out. Spend the money and have it fixed right the first time, or save a couple of bucks and maybe have to do it one or two more times. The choice is yours.

OEM Part
I swapped my factory AC blower motor and resistor for this new one from the seller—excellent speed of delivery.A small complaint is that the part arrived poorly packed, resulting in non-function inhibiting damage to the part.Overall, excellent product, excellent speed, and excellent dealing with the seller.

Perfect fit OEM Motorcraft
More expensive than the aftermarket blowers but did not want to do that job twice. Had 113k miles on original so hope this one last that long.

First shipment was DOA - Had to install twice - Still WAY cheaper than Ford direct
I did the install, took just over an hour. The back bolt is a nightmare! (Remove the back bolt first - Install second after the "easy" ones). For the first unit I ordered, I did the install, and it ran out of balance (i.e. throw a brick in your dryer and then put on high speed). I had to remove the first replacement after I received the second replacement (free of charge - Just had to remove the first replacement and ship it back after amazon sent the replacement free of charge [so long as I send the original back within 30 days]). The second install took about 20 minutes, as I am now an expert on that repair. It is working great now... Minus one star because the second install was way easier after the learning curve.

Worth the money
Bought an aftermarket for half the cost and didn’t last long before it got noisy. This OEM one works great and quiet.

NOT “Like New”
This item was not as described. I was able to make this work, but it definitely was not “Like New” and for the price I paid, it should have been in much better condition. It had a broken clip, was very dirty, and had rust on the end pin. It was also different from the picture annd had a wire harness with a connector instead of the spot to plug in to. Instead of being a part that was only tried or lightly used, I feel like it was just pulled out of the junkyard. It’s a difficult install, so I don’t really want to go through that again and it does work, but it really was not accurately described. I would have just bought the new one if I’d known.

Package was damaged, which broke the plastic that holds the connector.
Piece of plastic that holds the connector on it was broke when I received it.

Mechanic recommended manufacturers parts only
My a/c mechanic recommended ford parts specifically for a/c repairs. My blower motor was making a whining noise. It was easy to repair on my own just. Hardest part was reaching the bolt in back but nothing to difficult. Don’t waste your time and money….buy motorcraft.
