The more lactose free products coming into the market, the better
From the standpoint of health concerns, this product just about rings every healthy bell that can be found in a product and still be called "Cheese".No lactose, cholesterol,gluten, It contains a somewhat fine granular consistency with mild to medium sharpness. In consuming its quickly discerniblethat it does not contain the sharp and tangy flavor that the run of the mill parmesan's, but still provides an excellent cheese addition to many meals, especially, for lactose intolerant consumers

DECEPTIVE product
This product makes me so angry. Look at the product listing...Michelle Farms Parmesan Cheese. I was in a hurry and compared a few different parmesan cheese products for price/oz and just ordered this one. Every parmesan cheese "dust" like product I've had in the past has been basically the same- a dry cellulose salt delivery system-I did not have high expectations for this product to begin with. Little did I know I was ordering Michelle Farms Parmesan Cheese ALTERNATIVE. One bite of this and the foul, sewer like taste in my mouth sent me to inspect the canister. They are purposefully ripping people off my leaving the word "alternative" off the title of their listing. What makes me even madder is that I emailed Amazon about this and never got a response. This product is inedible. The taste is disgusting, and the ingredients blow my mind- hydrogenated oil, aluminum, and artificial flavor...what kind of person would willingly put that in their body. Disgusting product and deceptive sales practices....I would give this negative stars if I could. STAY AWAY FROM THIS "ALTERNATIVE."

Great substitute for store parmesan granular cheese (known as shaky cheese).
Tastes like the real thing, inexpensive and much better than those at the store which have plastic to keep from caking.

Tastes like nothing at all.
Texture is OK, but it really doesn't taste much like anything at all. If it is possible to make cheetoes taste like cheese, why can they not make this taste like cheese? I was not expecting a total abscence of flavor.

Thought it was a good deal , opened the first jar , it was HALF FULL , I just opened the 2nd . Jar , it was less than half full , checked the 3rd , same thing . This is not a good deal , it is a TOTAL RIP OFF !!!! and NO , you CAN NOT BLAME SETTELING during shipping . There is no WAY it would settle down to Half Full !!!!
