Top notch protein isolate
High quality, grass fed and finished protein with great BCAA content. Clean, pure, and nothing extra. Good taste. Needs a little more shaking/mixing than others I’ve tried but mixes fairly easy enough. Do not mix with warm/hot coffee or water as it will cause the protein to turn into gelatinous bits, which is not appetizing at all.

My new go to protein
I have been using Jay Robb protein for a few years. After an article on heavy metals and contaminants in name brand proteins came out I did a little research into Jay Robb. Unfortunately they do not publish their heavy metal or contamination report anywhere. Antler Farms was listed as a very clean protein without contaminants (but expensive according to the article. It’s still less than Jay Robb though). So I thought I would give them a try.Jay Robb has also been in some kind of strange soul searching. He now wears a weird bandana on his product marketing. Does he want to be a biker, a guru, a rockstar? I’m not really interested in financing his mid life crisis especially if I’m unsure about what is in his protein.Speaking of what is in the protein, I will say that both are whey isolates with high protein value per scoop, low cholesterol, very easy on the stomach and sweetened with Stevia (both were vanilla flavored).Taste: I would give Jay Rob a 9.5. Antler farms an 8.5. Good but not quite as good as Jay Robb.Mixability: Jay Robb 10, Antler Farms 8. After my bike rides I would usually use my cycling water bottle, fill it up half way, drop in a scoop of Jay Robb and shake it maybe 15 -20 times and it is totally dissolved. The Antler Farms takes more work and I’ve gone to a shaker bottle with the little springy metal ball inside to help. With that it totally dissolves in about 15 - 20 shakes.Antler Farms is very very good and I think I will keep using it unless Jay Robb can convince me that they do testing for lead, cadmium, etc.

The mixed berry flavor is the best!
Antler Farms Whey Protein Isolate has been a game changer for me. The flavor is clean and naturally good—no weird aftertaste like some other brands. It mixes easily and doesn’t feel heavy at all. Best part? Absolutely no stomach issues, which I’ve had with other proteins. It’s super gentle and easy to digest. Knowing it’s 100% grass-fed from New Zealand just adds to the quality. I feel good about what I’m putting into my body, and it’s helped me recover faster after workouts. Definitely sticking with this one!

Antler Whey Protein
Excellent Product recommended by my Naturopath. It has the cleanest grass fed cow whey protein from New Zealand. Excellent flavor with all shakes in vanilla.

Worthless whey powder
I have used unflavored and flavored whey protein from various producers for the last 10 years. I want to try Antler Farms due to positive reviews and paid $32 per pound. Even expiration date is labelled as 08/2025 when I opened, I smell old and expired whey protein that taste horrible (Taste of whey protein is nothing to do with flavor, good whey protein is smooth and taste good without or with flavor). This particular lot may have issue, but it is a trap and waste of money. I recommend others not to waste money with Antler Farms products.

Best Whey Protein I've Had
Whey protein is a tricky one. Most whey based protein powders give me stomach cramps. My chiropractor recommended this brand because they are very clean and usually easier to digest. My father and I gave it a try. He got the chocolate flavor and I stuck with the vanilla. There are four ingredients (which is hard to beat unless you go unflavored). It's flavored with stevia, which tends to make things very sweet. It is sweet, but I don't find it unbearable. I'm used to vegan proteins, which tend to have a few more ingredients to account for protein. Upon opening, the protein looks very fine and powdery. I had no problem mixing it with some nut milk/water and a shaker ball. It is expensive, but most protein powders are expensive. You could always supplement with the unflavored protein if you need more protein (as those tend to be cheaper). I I'm okay with splurging on clean, quality products, as I know my body will thank me later. As for taste, the vanilla is pretty decent and basic. It tastes like vanilla. I do think I prefer the chocolate, however, I have been using both when I want a shake in the morning. I mix a scoop of one flavor, with a little of the other, and blend it with some kind of milk (usually walnut milk), ice, and fiber. I found this gives it a thicker consistency and I can eat some of it with a spoon. My tastebuds do get confused, because it tastes like ice cream. I also find having ricecakes with something on the salty side after helps balance the sweetness of it. I don't do this everyday, but it is a nice change. I haven't used it much, so I can't account for cramps quite yet. We seem to be okay, thus far. I will continue to update as I experiment with this protein to make sure my stomach stays less crampy and that I can mix with other items (like overnight oats, chia seeds, or protein ball).

Cleanest protein on the market.
I love the taste and how well it mixes. Been trying to find the purest and cleanest protein that doesn’t have natural flavors. Finally found Antler and will be sticking to buying for now. They don’t have natural or artificial ingredients or any fillers to try and save costs. I’d rather spend premium to get premium. Else, there are TONS of other products that flood the market with junk in it. Please keep your future products as clean and pure as they are. Thank you, you have my recurring business.

Tastes good and easy on the stomach
I really like that this protein has clean ingredients when most others have artificial sweeteners. I blend mine in the bullet because I don’t like when it stays gritty if you just shake it. It has a slight after taste due to the whey, but overall it is pleasant to drink. It’s not cheap, but I would rather pay more for clean ingredients than drink fake sweeteners and other stuff the other brands use. I recommend it. I like the vanilla and chocolate. I’ll try the peanut butter chocolate but it does have a higher sodium content.
