Substrate designed for the cultivation of the main types of orchids such as Cattleya, Dendrobium, Cymbidium and Phalaenopsis. Different components of the mixture have been chosen to meet the needs of both epiphytic and semi-epiphytic species. The first grow anchored to the bark of the trees with the roots exposed to the air, the latter vegetate with the rdical apparatus covered with plant debris. Orchids are therefore plants that need to have the roots well ventilated and moist.Precisely for these reasons Comfort Line for Orchids was formulated using pine bark, coconut fibers and peat. These materials give the soil the optimal porosity and drainage characteristics for the development of all orchids, while allowing sufficient water and nutritional reserve.
