Buying this was prompted by a close encounter I had with a vehicle that I didn't hear approach. Almost took my hand off! So I felt I needed to add a further safety layer, and after looking around options, I opted for this device.I fitted this weekend and found the radar's vehicle detection system to be great. Every approaching car from behind triggers an audible alert and is tracked on my head unit until it passes by (this is an IGPSport head unit). This feature has given me the assurance that I am aware of my surroundings at all times, even under challenging conditions.It is also an excellent rear light (super super bright!), improving my visibility to others on the road, with a great battery life. I had over 80% after a 3 hour bike ride this weekend.While it may seem like a significant investment initially, the assurance of safety and the enhanced cycling experience it offers make it completely worth the price. It was easy to fit and install, connect to my head unit (as always, I connected to my partner's Garmin, and it worked fine on her system too).

Good bit of kit, my only gripe would be the visual ndication of approaching vehicles on the bike computer (using their own brand IGP something 630)Videos online show top of the screen when a vehicle is next to you where this one is approximately half way to three quarters, not a major issue as long as you are aware of that distance. I hope there will be an update soon to resolve this issue, other than that the light itself is very visible to approaching vehicles.

Great little rear light. Very bright and love the smart brake feature that allows others to see that I am slowing down. I also have the BSC300 gps computer and it connects to the device flawlessly also can show me if there is a vehicle behind me and how far.

I especially love the braking light on feature, probably one of the best feature when riding in groups as it makes the rider being me aware that I am slowing down. The grade was useful aswell as a safety feature as it told me how many car wa s behind me and exactly how far.

The light itself is really bright Radar function is fantastic displays red amber and green on approaching and passing cars from behind inclusion of various mounts for standard and aero seat posts is a great touch - mounts to garmin type mounts

Mounting options for round and aero seat posts are fantastic the light itself is really bright and the radar function works really well with red green and amber notifications when paired with cycle computer- I’m my case the IGPS630Simple to pair overall really good product!
