Worked great on my non-Barnett crossbow
My crossbow has a 165lb draw. When I was younger this wasn't a problem but it's started being a hassle and if target practicing, I get to about 8 draws and I'm fair done in. Added this cocking device and it's now a dream to cock the crossbow. Wish I'd bought it sooner.Due to the way it fits it literally halves or more the draw weight. What a blessing.Highly recommended

Works great with Barnett Crossbows
I was using a Centerpoint rope cocker on my Barnett bow and it was catching on the string when I cocked it. Once I bought this I've had no issues with that anymore. Reduces the strength needed the same as any rope cocker does, but this one works best for Barnett just like you'd imagine. Easy to adjust the length too.

Rope is half the diameter of the one that came with the Barnett Crossbow
Comparing this RCD to the one that came with the Barnett Whitetail Hunter STR, this RCD has the same hooks and improved handles. However, the most important part of the RCD is arguably the rope itself. The rope on this"premium" RCD is half the diameter of the one that came with the crossbow. Therefore I don't think it will last as long, nor would I call it "premium". I prefer the original RCD. All you're getting here is marginally nicer handles with a lesser quality rope.
