I have 4 other APC branded products - these are the best ones out there and offers peace of mind. Spend a little bit more for this known brand - plus the insurance policy it comes with is decent. What is a few more £ for peace of mind that everything is well controlled?

Very impressive.Handy to have a couple of sockets reversed which accommodate the larger converters without obscuring 1-2 sockets on the opposite side as previous adapters by belkin did. With belkin, slight movement of the power cables could brush over the power switch and turn off the power to all your devices which is potentially detrimental to hard drives in a pc, etc. This unfortunately happened all too frequently and led me to try this brand. The power button is far sturdier and not likely to be accidentally flicked off.

Great power adapter, plug and forget. I am willing to pay extra for the quality of this product. I like that it feels sturdy too, and not all of the plugs are on the switch (ie, they are always on). In addition, it was easy to plug in a non-grounded plug as well.

The powerline Ethernet support is good. The phone in filter is not so good. I found that my broadband upgrade from 18Mbps to 67Mbps was stuffed by this unit as it wouldn't allow my speed to exceed 40Mbps. One I removed this unit from the circuit I got the speed I was paying for. A bit of a shame really

It is a very robust unit, well built from APC a company with a great pedigree in power management. Stands out from the slew of generic and difficult to differentiate products.
