I needed a product that would allow me to charge my tablet as well as use a keyboard. This product worked for my Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+.

Works on most things, but not everything. Does work on a steam deck and tablet. Not on the Lenovo legion GO however.

If you have a new google chromecast with google tv, then this adapter can be useful if you'd like to play files that are under 3.5gb if you are transferring them from somewhere else. More importantly, you can use this to set up more storage for your chromecast. It's a nice device to have!

TOO BAD CAN'T GIVE HALF A STAR.Will Not Charge any device. The only device that will even recognize any kind of power is A SAMSUNG phone, but it registers Super Low Charging (Where the screen by itself basically uses more power than what its charging). So in essence, NO Charging!!! Tried with multiple charging bricks and an assortment of different cables. Nothing. Never bothered testing data speeds. Why waste time when you've already determined 50% of the functionality doesn't workTHIS DOES NOT CHARGE ELECTRONICS!!!!

I specifically ordered this to use with various Android tablets and my backup Android phone. It worked with some of them, but not with others. I'm not sure if this was an issue with the OTG cable or the tablets themselves, but there seemed to be no rhyme or reason to why some devices worked and others did not.

I have an unusual use case for this adapter. I have a Dell XPS 15 9510 which only has USB-C ports. And like most people, I like to use a wireless travel mouse. Well try finding a wireless travel mouse with a USB-C receiver (why doesn't that exist yet in 2023???). Long story short, since I don't really want to have the load the receiver in and out of my mouse all the time, and getting even the smallest USB-C to A adapter would stick out substantially from my laptop. So I got this dongle to leave my receiver plugged into since it's a few inches in length and won't get lost/disappear in the bottom of my laptop bag.

I use this to let me charge my phone while using a USB SDR dongle. Radios are power hungry, and listening to my SDR used to result in rapidly declining battery, and I'd have to disconnect the radio to charge back up. With this little adapter I can charge via wall or power bank and leave the radio connected.The adapter itself is nicely made, with aluminum housings for the ports and a properly extruded type C connector that locks into my phone nicely. I believe it's USB 2.0, so you're not going to get insane file transfer speeds from a USB 3.0 drive, but that's not really my use case for this. I have zero complaints, this thing is inexpensive, well made, and solves my problem.

Ich nutze dieses OTG-Kabel, um an meinem Tablett permanent eine weitere SD-Karte als Datenspeicher vorzuhalten. Dazu verwende ich zusätzlich einen USB-C Kartenleser-Adapter, dem ein USB-A Adapter beiliegt (das ist also ein separates auf Amazon erwerbbares Produkt, für etwas mehr als 7 Euro, konkret: Marke YRIKE).Über den am OTG-Kabel vorhandenen USB-C Anschluss wird das Tablett schließlich bei Bedarf geladen und diese Kabel/Adapter-Kombination bleibt ansonsten permanent in meinem Tablett stecken. Das stört auch nicht.Diese Kombination (und das Prinzip der "Speichererweiterung") funktioniert übrigens auch tadellos an der ein oder anderen Mini-Konsole (konkret: PS Classic, SNES Mini und C-64 Maxi). Hier wird allerdings ein schneller USB-A 3.1+ Stick angeschlossen und nicht der erwähnte Kartenleser-Adapter (Vorsicht: SNES Mini erkennt nur 32 GB-Sticks und die PS Classic verarbeitet nur Sticks bis 128 GB).Was mir an dem OTG-Kabel anonsten auch noch sehr gut gefällt, ist die Flexibilität der kurzen Kabelstücke, sowie die Verarbeitung insgesamt. Das gute Stück sieht schlicht edel aus.Deshalb verdient sich dieses OTG-Kabel von mir volle 5 Sterne, ohne auch nur ansatzweise ins Schwitzen zu kommen ;)
