Interesting idea, and it just might work
My wife is using it at her desk, so after a couple of months, here's the lowdown. The quality of the product is outstanding. Everything feels solid and capable of taking the stress. The design is simple and, like other people have mentioned, installation is easy. Four screws, and they even provide a small screwdriver. Depending on the type of wood you're dealing with, you're most likely better off drilling pilot holes and using a big screwdriver. Her desk is homemade from 3/4-inch plywood, so I drilled short pilot holes, WD-40ed the screws and screwed them in.(Note: I had considered reinforcing the understand by screwing/gluing a piece of wood. After long consideration, I decided not to. I reasoned that the screws were not long enough to not poke through 3/4-inch plywood (helped by the thickness of the metal bracket). If they're designed to support the weight of a person's legs (as they should), they won't gain an advantage from being screwed into a piece of wood that itself has to be screwed / glued to the underside of the desk. So far, my theory is holding true.)Here's what I learned from installing and my wife's use of the product.Lesson one: The double-sided tape they provide seems like a good idea. It certainly raised a cute welt on my forehead when it peeled away (that metal bracket is HEAVY). I'm assuming it failed because the underside of the desk is painted. It worked to hold it in place and pencil in the holes like a real man would do it.Lesson two: Be prepared to move the plate. My wife didn't like where I had installed it. I had estimated it based on where she was sitting, and it needed to be a few inches over. My bad, but I strongly suggest getting under the desk, hooking the pads in place, and check with the person sitting there to make sure it's positioned properly. Fortunately, the time it took to redo the job was shorter than other jobs I've had to redo.My wife has been using it for about a month. She sits at the desk for several hours a day, with breaks for walking around. She's had two reactions so far:1. Her back aches from sitting at her desk have vanished.2. She's getting pains in her hips.It seems that sitting at your desk and whirling your legs around for six to eight hours a day might cause some problems. The pain has faded (and the back aches are still gone as well) so it's a win in the end. Just be aware that your body will have to adjust to the new dynamics the Hovr imposes on it. I suggest alternating hours or days on it until it feels more comfortable. Conclusion: It's worth it.

Doesn't really work at a regular office desk with a keyboard tray.
It wasn't as adjustable as I thought it would be--difficult to use with a keyboard tray, and who doesn't use a keyboard tray??? You'll notice in the pictures that none of them are at a desk with a keyboard tray. Yes, you can work around it, but it doesn't work like it is supposed to then--you can't really get a "swinging" motion because your knees are then too close to the bottom of the keyboard tray and hit it. It's more of a wiggling motion. Based on the pictures in the description and my experience, it seems to be more for use under a tall table, and without a keyboard tray, so you have a lot of room. It is kind of awkward to use at a real office desk, and it even started bothering my back at one point from the awkward position. I had to remove my keyboard tray and put my keyboard on my desk, which means I lost the space I normally keep my notes and books in, making my whole setup awkward and less comfortable, and causing tension in my shoulders, neck, and wrists. Not good. Also $90 was an inflated price, in my mind. I see the price has gone down now, but of course that doesn't help me any. I'd say this is more of a $50 item, and only for use under tall desks without a keyboard tray.

My Foot Toes!
Got mine today and it is awesome! Super comfy and super easy to install. I would recommend a power screw driver to screw into desk. They do provide you with a small Philips head manual screw driver and 4 screws, however, if you are installing under a desk into wood you want power. I had our facilities install it no problems in a few short minutes. I love this thing! My foot toes are so happy as a clam!

I can’t imagine not having this now!
AMAZING! I work all day at a desk and I am a full time student so this product has made a huge difference in under 2 weeks! My legs feel refreshed now at the end of the day. I am hoping to encourage everyone at work to get one!

Awesome- especially with a yoga ball chair!
I saw these on HOVR's website when they first came out but I wanted to wait until they were on Amazon to purchase. So I finally just got one and I love it. I also sit on a yoga ball chair (basically a base with wheels and a yoga ball sitting on top) so trying to balance on the ball while swinging engages my abs. I really like that I can stay moving while at my desk all day!

Love this foot swing
Love this foot swing! Had to do a bit of adjusting to get the settings just right between the desk, foot swing and chair but now that it's all settled it's great. I'm moving all day long at my desk and can use the swing not only for movement but to take a pause now and then to stretch out my legs using the swing as an assist. Feels great and the best part is...no more afternoon slump! I'm awake and focused all the way through my day. Great product!

So glad i bought a Hovr
I love the way the hovr looks and feels. It glides so easily when I place feet on it, and after a few minutes, I notice my thighs feeling some fatigue. It is very easy to put together, and it is such an easy thing to do to add activity into my day. Thanks Hovr team!

Works well and is easy to use.
This desk swing was easy to install and works great. Much better than the under desk bicycle pedals because you have smoother movement which does not affect your keyboarding/mouse. Although it seems built well and works well, I still think the $90 price tag is a bit much for some hooks, straps, and metal disks. That said, I really do like this item.
