The door swings out of the way.
Used these hinges to make a door for a large cat shelter. The door will swing completed back against the structure so it doesn't get broken. Very good. Highly recommended.

Works great
Went back and forth on what I needed to build a room with a custom door and this solved my issue. This let's the door open wider for what I needed it for.

This uniquely-shaped hinge worked great for my project!
I needed a very specific kind of hinge for my particular project (on our chicken coop, of all things). I searched the local hardware stores with no success. I searched Amazon and found only this particular hinge...and it works amazingly well! I rated it lower for Easy to Install...not because there is anything wrong with the hinge, but simply because it is a very oddly-shaped hinge to attach. The sturdiness isn't 5-star because the weight hangs 1.5" out from the surface I attached it to, and you can see the stress of the weight on the metal. It will definitely work though. (I substituted different screws instead of the ones provided just so I had something sturdier. The ones provided are just fine from what I can tell.) Highly recommended!
